Default Classic fast road tracking/geo settings needed pls

My 98 Sti is going for tracking in the morning, does anyone have a fastroad set up that they could share with me
It's on standard suspension with 30mm lowering springs and 18" wheels

Thanks in advance

See if you can get a deal, where you take the car back after 2 weeks of driving, to get the alignment checked/adjusted for free.

Have a full tank of fuel for the initial alignment and the re-check.

Minimize, then equalize rear camber (negative 1 deg, per side) by slacking and maneuvering the rear struts - there is play in the strut mounting holes. If they can't do it, go somewhere else.

0.15mins (0.25deg) rear toe-in, per side.

If using the stock front top mounts you'll probably get a max of negative 1degree 20mins (1.33deg), per side.
If you've got adjustable front top mounts start at 1deg 45mins (1.75deg). Increase or decrease depending on wear.

Start with Zero front toe.
If subsequently required:
Front toe-out 0.04mins (0.067deg) per side - use if twitchy - too responsive to steering inputs.
Front toe-in 0.04mins (0.067deg) per side - use to quicken turn-in.

My experience with 0°15' rear toe-in didn't last long after a hairy oversteer (extremely un-unusual with my Type R)

Plenty here: https://www.scoobynet.com/suspension...-settings.html

I think you might struggle to get what you want with 30mm lowering springs on standard Dampers - you'll run out of travel very quickly for one thing, plus a whole heap of other obstacles

How might positive rear toe generate oversteer?

Or go to a garage that has the hunter system. The garage I went to was spot on, and asked me what I wanted and how I drive the car.

Why didn't they set any neg camber up front? And then tons on the rear?

You've got almost 3° on that O/S rear! That's too much

He had trouble adjusting the hubs on the front but he also said to me that I didn't want to much negative on the front as the wheels would point to far out rather than in. I would of burnt through Tyres quickly if I had negative on the front. This is what the hunter come up which was best for my car.

I'm afraid you've been given some BS there

You have NO neg camber up front. It's when you're past one and 3/4 degs you're into tyre wear and that's only if you're doing more straight road stuff

Other thing you have too much rear creating an inbalance

Take it back, or somewhere else
