Wink ***SOLD*** Limited Edition Impreza 555 Type-RA ***SOLD***

FOR SALE

[SIZE="3"]Here is your chance to own a very rare Limited Edition Model: 1999 Subaru Impreza WRX 555 Type-RA (Version 5) WRC Limited Edition No. 0141 / 1000

This car wants for nothing, No expense spared, has a folder full of receipts & invoices in my ownership. Anyone who has seen the car also can vouch for its condition and even more so in my ownership as I have spent a lot of time, effort and money on it. Its 95% in its stock form bar the full 3’’ turbo back exhaust system. I have owned this car just short of a year & have now purchased a 25th Anniversary Golf (Diesel Version) for the long commute to work & back & can’t justify keeping both cars at the current moment so the Scooby has to go unfortunately.

Spec & History of the 555 Type RA:

Good points:

An almost standard Version 5 (555) WRX Type RA Model to retain its value & in amazing condition for a 15 year old car to be (must be seen to appreciate)
Drives superbly with no knocks or bangs or smoke etc
It has a folder full of receipts & invoices in my ownership
very well cared for - interior & exterior is in good condition for age of car
No rusts at all - No rusts on rear arches neither (very very hard to come across these days)

Bad points:

Just to point out that the bodywork is in good condition but NOT in showroom concourse condition. You will get the odd marks or blemishes & car park dings which are not noticeable if you see the pictures etc but is good to point out so the potential buyers are aware when coming to view & if being very very picky, Front bonnet has some stone chips which is expected given the age, but none the less it hasn't bothered me in my ownership at all (But i will let the potential buyer decide on that when coming to view)

This model is one of the closest experiences you will ever get from Subaru factory being a road going rally car main factor being one of the lightest production model by Subaru. (1,240Kg)

This Subaru will be sadly missed & I would personally like this vehicle to be purchased by a ScoobyNet enthusiast member who will continue to appreciate this car & the model of this particular Subaru.

I would like to clearly state that i'm in no rush to sell - so please no timewasters, tyre-kickers or dreamers. Test drive will only be done by me unless you show me sufficient funds & your valid insurance that you can drive this car with my permission. No part-exchanges as I already have a car as mentioned on above Ad & a Cash Sale / Online Bank Transfer.

*More pictures can be sent upon request (forward me your email address via PM)

**I have tried my best to do a detailed advert as possible for the potential buyer BUT i may have missed something out - if i have please don't hesitate to get in touch & i will do my utmost best to respond promptly

Just for reference purpose: this model is very rare that I have only found 1 Trader (Tom Harvey) who currently has 2 of these up for sale as fresh imports – first one being at £7,995 & second one at £9,995

1 private seller on eBay at £7,250 – the item number is 331911272824

Cool TOTB 2016

Thanks for the kind/positive comments 'Uncle Creepy' & Derek STi' - Much Appreciated

Just want this going to a ScoobyNet enthusiast member or a member from the Type RA Forum who will continue to cherish the car for many years to come

Had a nice drive to York today with the Subaru to watch/spectate the TOTB 2016 @ Elvington AirField

I had the stand pass & was parked with the Leeds Subaru Owners Club (LSOC) & West Yorkshire Subaru Owners Club (WYSOC)

Couple of pics of my car:

Wink 02/08/16 Oil Service + Underside Pics

Hi Corky (bustaMOVEs) - ive made my final decision & will sell up mate But all being well will be back again in the Scooby scene in the near future

Right - as agreed was booked today to give the Subaru a Fresh oil & filter change – Castrol Edge FST Titanium 10W 60 & Black OEM Subaru Oil Filter.

I also got the Brand New Pioneer Rear Parcel Shelf speakers installed (sounds really nice and crisp) & a full health check done with thumbs up Ready for the new potential owner to drive away

Whilst it was in the air on the ramp - it made sense to take snaps of the underside - for the potential buyers to view

Open To Serious Offers Upon Viewings - Thanks

Few of my friends are attending - (Jack) from RH Motorsport

He has a nice little pocket rocket (1.4Si sleeper)

*Right people not wanting to do this - as I'd like this to go to a forum member - whether it's on here or the type RA forum - I'd give it another week & I may have to advertise on the likes of Auto Trader & Piston Heads to see what response I get from the outer market. But as said - if any of you guys are interested in a rare Type RA model - arrange a viewing with me & if serious enough to purchase I will be more than happy to negotiate a good price :] everything is done - so it's a straight drive away

Thanks

Heyup pal. I am not too clued up on Scoobys but have owned evo's in the past so know my high performance cars. I currently own a Focus ST225 while I do like it have decided its time to get back in a 4wd performance car and having never owned a Scooby this is my decision.

I presume the type ra is permanent all wheel drive and do all type ra have DCCD and water cooler spray button?

Thanks, Lee.

I would of thought this would be gone by now, knowing gaf and his cars it would be faultless and not many honest cars about these days.
The saying is, you snooze you loose.
If you like the car and happy, I'd be back like a shot, I'm sure gaf will knock you some beer money off hehe
