I'm unsure but I threw my dummy out that day after yet another time waster. I'll never break the car, just keep it. The car is my pride and joy.

The only reason I was selling as I had the chance to finish a 6R4 project I've dreamed about and was in a position to do so. But it will remain forsale for a while longer then I'll give up and keep till it's worth cosy money!

I really do hope you get what your hoping for and the work that has gone into it looks fantastic. I know how you feel though when you're selling a car and you have a price in your head.

I had a type r impreza with 27000 miles on the clock about 6 years ago, I paid £10500 for it originally and had put over £10000 into it and ended up taking £6500 for it! I was gutted!! It was worth more but no one wanted to pay what I wanted.

Thankfully Classic have risen in value quite a lot recently. I believe if you have the same car today you would have got double.

Ed, where else have you got this advertised? you should be selling it at this money but probably not on here and you could do with some interior pictures etc, have you tried car and classic? Appreciate you need to get it sold but I'd be more inclined to really push the advertising than lowering the price now, the best write up you can do, really good pictures etc

I believe your right mate.

The car is advertised on 4 Subaru Forums, Autotrader, eBay and Pistonheads.

I agree the picture don't do the car full justice but just haven't had the time to get the car out and retake some.

Obviously I have linked the build thread which is a complete write up off the car, but you have to join to view.

I've changed the price to 11k to sell, I have had a few time wasters and have a new project in mind. If I still have it this time next week the car will be off the market as my life would have got a lot easier and will continue to invest in the car and enjoy it.

It was never an easy decision to sell it after all my hard work, but I was following a dream build I've always wanted to do. Missed out on it now so things have changed.

Time wasters or interested people who thought the car wasn't the one for them?

Keep hearing on here and on other forums about all these time wasters which might put people off even viewing the car in case they get branded another time waster. Maybe just take a deep breath and accept that the ones that don't buy the car part of the selling experience unfortunately and don't put off more who might well be interested but might be put off.

Oh mate, I'm more than happy to show anyone around the car. My time is not a problem and want anyone interested to see my car to which is the only way to see its true condition.

I have only branded a time waster or wasters based on No show or cannot get insurance.

Ah, fair enough then, that is a time waster!

Hope you get your new price, you don't know how many time I've considered selling mine and getting yours to save me doing the underside refurb on mine. Lol

I can imagine, I did it along side a friend at his garage but all in all it cost me 4-5k. I couldn't imagine how much a workshop could charge. We spent 100hrs at least on the car. Hence why it took four months with work, finding the time was a nightmare.

Not sure if Krissy is doing it anymore as they were having logistic problems where to do it, then times an issue too.
