I was after £5,700, but now open to offers, I've seen a Forester I would like to buy before I go away at the end of the week.

Hi All,


Due to baby, and lugging baby crap in the boot and cabin, as well as increased commute, my car is officially for sale on a first come, first serve basis.


But, you will have to bear with me, I work long hours, and 6 days a week. I will also be going away between 2nd April and wont be back until the 11th. But, something tells me this wont be around by then anyway! :-)


Here are the basic details, which i will update later, when I'm at home.


The car has:

• 76k on the clock, with full service history
• Full service history, with a Millers 10/40 engine oil change, gearbox and rear diff oil change to Motul Gear 300 in both. New Magnetic sump and rear diff plugs used. Oil, fuel and pollen filter swapped.
• New Godspeed front disks and Pagid pads fitted last week.
• New Neutral Position Switch fitted last week
• Has MOT until next year

I'll get the receipt and stamp in the service book for the above this weekend.

• Clutch change at 60k (to OEM clutch) or there about, I'll confirm this when i get home.
• Rear calipers reconditioned by Godspeed
• Rear Godspeed disks and Blue stuff pads, less than 1k miles of use
• Rota wheels all around
• Goodyear Asymmetric 2 tyres all around, less that 2k use
• NGK PFR 7B spark plugs
• New coolant/antifreeze
• Pipercross panel filter
• 3 port boost solenoid
• Harvey Smith Up Pipe
• DEI wrapped headers
• DEI wrapped downpipe
• Cusco turbo heatshield
• Scoobyworld SS centre pipe with resonator - less than 2k old
• Scoobyworld RaceBox back box
• HID front lights, and LED lights in most other places (interior and external)
• The interior is VERY clean, no rips, holes, etc. Tiny bit of wear on drivers and passengers seat, but hardly noticeable.

The car has been open road mapped by Paul at Zen Performance, to roughly 330BHP, he said its running just under 1.5 bar boost.


Paul and every mechanic that has looked at the car has said the engine and gearbox are very smooth and healthy. The engine doesn't use oil.


Previous owner to me, was a Scoobyneter, who had the car for 10 years.


I've upgraded the interior centre console to a hawk centre console. And will be removing my stereo this weekend.


The DAB areal and rear view camera will be staying.
















BAD POINTS:

• The suspension struts and springs look to be the original items and need changing. They knock from time to time at low speeds, when moving back and forth. Needs changing.
• The paint looks lovely, but when you have a closer look, you will see some swirling, and minor scratches
  

The car is in London, E4 9JF in the evening, and Edgware HA8 7UU during the day while I work.


No test drives, until money has been exchanged. I'm happy to take you on as many test drives as you need before doing the sale.


I'd really like the car to go to another Scoobyneter who will take care of it. But if it hasn't sold by the 11th May, I'll put it on Pistonheads and Ebay and put the price up. I know it will sell quickly there.
