Default Sold!!!!

Regretfully putting this up for sale as running two subarus is getting costly...

Car is a Subaru Forester stb/type a Jdm import... I have owned this for around 4 months and in that time have spent a small fortune to get it where it is now.. Running a very healthy 321bhp on a eculabs ecu with print out to prove.

Ok so this is how it was bought, with a fueling issue and a few niggles which were on top of my list to sort

This is how it stands today

I have a projects thread which you could also check out to see the work that's been done, most at scoobyspares where Scott could vouch for how clean the car is... Parts bought from Alyn@ASperformance...

https://www.scoobynet.com/members-gallery-5/1008981-m2rtxfozzy.html

Has mot till end of feb but will fly through as no issues by the garage to report.. mileage is currently showing 97k which is a mix of miles and kilometres... Old mots to prove its around 70k miles.

It's recently had an oil filter change, and a dent man to remove most dents.

Interior
Excellent un marked half leather and suede
Pioneer app radio
And the usual forester interior

Engine
STI tmic
Vf35 turbo
440 injectors
Cosworth pannel filter
bov
Running mafless with LC enabled

Drivetrain
Tein coilovers
Front + rear strut braces
Perrin front + rear anti roll bars
Perrin stout mounts
Xxr 527 18x8.75 gold
Yoko parada 225/40/18 6mm tread left
Also has rally armour mudflaps bought from the U.S.
3" - 2.5" decat downpipe
Decat up pipe
De res centre Tsl back box
Recently bought a new battery, new lamba sensor as part of service all receipts to show this ive kept...

Bad bits and remember this is a 15 year old car...

Front and rear bumper could do with a refresh also would benefit from a full machine polish as the paint looks a little tired.
Few marks here n there nothing serious, steering wheel a little worn just being honest...

Over all lovely smooth drive, recent geo set up so handles great and the power delivery is awsome... I am
Located 2 mins away from the trafford centre in manchester for anyone interested... Im sure the first to come see this will drive it away any questions just ask ive tried to be honest but may have missed bits as Ive not sold a car for many years lol... Putting this up for £3700

Thought this may help any potential buyers... Conversation I had this morning... A brief idea for a potential buyer

So your car, firstly a few general questions.

1-Obviously these things are getting on a bit now so not expecting a show car but what is bodywork like? Any rust (arches, sunroof, window surrounds etc)?

No rust at all, one thing I looked into aswell when I bought it, the petrol cap could do with replacing as this has a small ding, it was on the to do list. Easy swap as loads on eBay... Underneath is very clean, roll bars were replaced for perrin, these could probs do with a coat of picky but for me wasn't an issue they serve there purpose. There is a small car park sing in one wing, I did have have the dent Man take them out the doors.. Over all body is very good would benefit from a good wax polish to get the best out the paint work. The front bumper does have stone chips and rear a small scuff, was quoted £200 for a spray but never bothered me as the purpose for the car was so the dog could get in the back so not to use the impreza daily...

2-Any accident damage? HPI clear?

No accident damage and hpi clear, the check was done when I purchased..

3-When was car imported? Where and by whom?

Car was imported in 2004 not sure by whom...

4-How many owners is it on? (ideally known prior to import and since being imported)

Not sure how many in Japan, I am second U.K. Owner... Last owner was first and did very few miles.. Approx 4k in four years.. Was an elderly man

5-What paperwork/service history do you have?

I have all recepits for work carried out by myself, service, parts etc.. The car was looked after by scoobspares 01253 871188 speak to Scott he will tell you about the car.. I also have old mot, and history from previous.. Not much but I know now the cars sound as I am very particular about the way my cars drive... It was mapped with a Ecu labs ecu running maffless producing a healthy 321bhp... Mapped by andrew Carr... 07852 ******* can also vouch for the car...

6-Last time cambelt was done?

Belt was changed around 15k miles ago, could be changed again for peace of mind, it's never been an issue to me and was something I was going to get round to.

7-Any issues that need sorting currently? (Again appreciate she isn't brand new but don't want to end up with massive bills as I plan on keeping my classic so daily has to be as hassle free as possible)

Not much of an issue but the mudflaps do scrape the floor as they're long, could do with cutting down a touch, again never been an issue to me.. Also the newage STI tmic was quite a tight squeeze so it rubs the front strut brace, again not an issue to me as its only when taking off but by removing the strut brace this will be solved...

8-How does insurance rate compared to UK cars?

I insure this for £500 fully comp for the year

9-I see it has the large moon roof. I assume this is fully electric like UK spec and is working fine? Does it have heated seats and cruise like UK cars?

No cruise or heated seat... Moon roof works perfectly all electrics works perfectly...

I see you are keen for a sale for personal reasons and have mentioned taking parts off and reducing price. Do you have prices in mind for lower specs? I would be interested in both a whole sale as you appear to have done a nice job with her, or a more standard spec low price as well. Depends on what best deal would be? Do you have a bottom line figure for a quick sale in mind as the car stands now? I know these things can be hard to value. Alyn at AS performance looks after mine and I see he has supplied parts. I will probably contact him re valuations etc as he knows these things very well. (he wont sell me his!) Not looking to be cheeky about talking money straight off etc and don't want to waste your time but if you are wanting a sale asap and had a figure/figures in mind no harm in asking.

Alyn is the only man I ring for parts, when you speak to him ask him about me.. Martin (M2RTXbugeye) lol that's my SN username he'll know who you mean... I only buy genuine good stuff Alyn will tell you..

As for price I can de spec the engine mods etc as this will mess up the map.. The wheels can come off as these set me back nearly £1k I can replace for standard sti wheels in gold...

Also has Godspeed brake discs and fast road pads, (1/2 months old) brembo calipers all round.. These could be taken off for standard items...

The Sti genome is to be replaced by a Tsl grp N exhaust...

If you'd like the car as it is I will take £4350 bottom price

If you'd like me to take the wheels off Id like £4000

If you'd like the wheels and brakes off Id take £3700

The cars a smooth drive, the parts compliment the way the car goes and stops although I appreciate Im asking too money for the car although in my opinion is well worth the money...

Hope this helps you buddy I am an honest person... I would be as honest as to any potential buyer as when this car was sold to me they wernt that honest... To my annoyance..

The power the car produces is great for its size, takes a bit of getting used to as its a diff drive to an impreza... It's on Coilovers this was due to trying to reduces the body roll with added perrin roll bars... Brakes obviously to stop the car with the added power..

The vf35 had only covered 44k with no crack in the waste gate..

This is my daily run, school shopping etc, it was never thrashed simply using the power to over take etc... Just needs a good clean now lol..

Any more questions fire away... I have an op 19th of jan if this doesn't sell by then it'll just be parked up till the summer. Want to try get it to its new owner before then ideally...

Kind Regards

Martin
