Very good performance, but weren't Wigan 10 first teamers short ?.

Along with products of the finest youth academy in SL they still fielded 5 or 6 internationals v our zero internationals.

Be interesting if Wigan beat Cas tonight with pretty much the same team.

Leeds Rhinos coach may be sacked too if they lose to Hull. .

Its a game for men not mice. Would you have pointed it out had it happened in the 62-0 win over Wigan or is it cos you got a good tonking today. I've seen alot worse than that. Suprised Chesters got u playing so well, he did f all at Rovers. And l'm a black & white by the way. Good luck for the rest of the season l think you'll win more than you lose.

TBH yes, as I think the ref did everything to save Wigan's blushes. It's not WWE!!!

To be fair to Hull, that was the most determined effort I've ever seen from our opposition down at Belle Vue. They showed us a lot of respect and competed everything. Our weakened bench was the difference in the end.

Well because l work thursday-monday l just get to watch them on sky. Used to be real home and away fan many moons ago. Hull FC have spent so many years underachieving its probably those most determined l've seen them for many a year.

Dont know why other people call us codheads there from grimsby. Remember a cup replay against the then called bradford northern on a wedneday night in the late 70"s-80's when 10,000 went. Those were the good old days. Wonder what you would have called somebody like jim mills when he played. You might not be old enough to remember him lol.

Never heard of him, I watched a vid on youtube from 1963, opposition used to knee & kick players playing the ball in a bid to send the ball flying back 20 yards. It if was as scrappy as it was back then I'd not watch it now.

See Gareth Ellis has accepted a 1 match ban for his grade B offence against the mighty wildcats. Wasn't your video evidence that copped him was it RS_Matt, lol

1 game for that unprovoked attack, What a joke.

2 Wakefield players had to have x-rays on their faces because of Ellis' head hunting, Tupou has 4 lose teeth. They look set to miss out match v Widnes. Only Les Catalans benefit from it all.

No wonder the game won't spread.

While l agree with your sentiments about violence having no place in sport, unfortunately it happens. I don't know how old you are, l'm 56, and believe you me the sport has come along way in that time and in my honest opinion in someways backwards. A hooker who is redundant in todays game earnt his corn years ago, ie when was the last time you saw a scrum won against the head ?, and a scrum was a proper scrum not like today. There fitter, stronger, faster and healther than 20+ years ago. I'm sure if your dad, uncle, older cousin are Rugby men they'll be able to tell you about the thugs in those days. As l say not been to a live game for years because of work, but when l did or after football you could go to your local or club at the Rugby ground and have a drink with your heroes. How often does that happen these days ? Its a physical game and s**t happens.

I'm 38 soon, I've been watching since 1988, I don't mind high tackles and mistimed shoulder charges as such but ****house tactics like Chase on Ropati or Paul Reilly when he used to dive on try scorers with his knees has no place in the game and such premeditated incidents should be allowed to be referred to the police imo.

I think the game has got worse since Wigan came up with injury causing wrestling techniques. Chicken wing and cannon ball tackles have no place in RL.

I've seen Wakey win a few scrums against the head by a late push but I've also seen them penalised for pushing. I've also seen frustrated Wakey players yellow carded for throwing the ball away after conceding a penalty or knocking on and I've seen many other teams not penalised for it. The game has so many double standards.

Interesting point you make about Wigans tatics because of course they picked up there style of play from the Aussies mate. Consistency is the name of the game in all sports with rules, and the lack of it is what frustrates the fans. My big bug bear is that there's to much use of the video ref and it gives the ref on the pitch a chance to cop out of making a decision. The downward pressure for a try is another pain in the butt because at times even the fans in the stand can see he's dropped/lost control of the ball before "scoring".

It's up and under that bother me when several players contest the ball and it takes 10 replays to see who got the last touch and if it went backwards, just play on and class it as a ricochet, look at the onside and grounding. This would help refereeing in real time too.
