Default My White SG9 Forester STi

I sold my hatchback STi to a willing party so I was on the lookout for a replacement car, I knew I did not want another Impreza so after some consideration I decided upon a Forester STi.

I did some online searches but nothing really appealed to me so I rang a few of the importers and Prodrift UK had a fresh import (less than a week) in white which he had not put up for sale at that point. I was sent over some pics of the car and as I could not view it due to the distance I agreed to pay a refundable deposit if the car wasn't to my liking.

I then went over to view/pay/collect the car last Friday and I have to say I am very happy with my purchase.

The car is basically as it left the factory except for a JDM aftermarket rear silencer, engine earthing kit, a nice Pioneer head unit with sat nav and a myriad of other useless features as they are all in Japanese plus an Alpine sub woofer mounted in the rear load area.

The engine bay as you can see in the pics is in brilliant condition, no corrosion in any of the usual areas found in a UK car and even the TMIC has no bent fins.

The car will be having a full maintenace service, new Pioneer App Radio 4 head unit and a few other minor jobs and that will be about it.

A very nice, clean example that you've got there!

I'm looking into getting myself an imported MY04 2.0 FSTI in blue and giving the MY03 2.0 XT to my wife.

Enjoy the Fozzy, loving every moment in mine.

I did look at WR blue cars but having had 5 virtually on the trot I think it was time for a change, she is a lot cleaner than I expected and I can only imagine the previous Japanese owner was a really OCD on keeping the car clean.

I am definitely enjoying the increased comfort in the Forester, although the ride can be a little soft at times when you want to press on.

She won't stay clean being white but at least it will give me a chance to hone my cleaning skills.

Should be 500 like most National Express busses
Do You need bus licence to drive it?
Is those 'thing' drive like navarra pick up or is a bit faster?

National Express are a coach company not 'busses'.

At last you bought a proper car Tyron

Wow that engine bay is like new, not even one bent fin on the I/C, how rare is that!

It looks great in white and in fantastic condition too, enjoy!

How many miles does it have?

Very nice Ty. As you are well aware from our chats I am a huge fan of the full fat Fozz.

I look forward to seeing this one in the flesh, if you keep her for long enough that is

It is in very good condition, far better than any other car of a similar age and mileage that I have ever seen.

Thanks, it has just over 52000 miles (adjusted from kms) on it.

Very nice Ty, a very clean example

If you find the suspension a little soft try the BC's, I find them just right

Thanks Danny, I have to agree that the standard suspension is a little soft compared to an Impreza so that may be something to be looked at a later date.
