Default bugeye sigma alarm issue

Hey,

I've got a 2001 bugeye wagon and my alarm is randomly going off now and then but only happening when the engine is switched off for about 5-15mins. Some times it will be fine but recently it has been getting worse. I've made sure all windows are up and all doors and bonnet are closed, fob works fine

take the bulb out of the boot light and try that,
if that fails try disabling the interior sensors.

So if it still goes off with all sensors off then it's probably the unit?

Only the bonnet pin switch left after that really.

For me on a classic with sigma alarm it was the interior ultrasonic sensors. I remember there being two settings to configure so might be worth checking how to disable completely - it took me a few attempts to get it right.

try setting with the last trigger excluded:
http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/uploads..._m30_codes.pdf

that way you'll know if you have more than 1 fault - or try the "displaying the last trigger" option. Count the flashes and it will tell you which sensor is triggering the alarm.
