Default Recommenfations for an engine rebuild in Glasgow

Wife's VW caddy has just gone bang. Spun a shell, bent a valve (or two).

1.9TDI 102ps. Probably worth about the same as the cost of repair, but we've done a lot to it, so I'd rather get it fixed than sell it and start again.

Anyone got any recommendations for reconditioned engines in or around Glasgow or any good engine builders who really know their stuff?

Cheers

You could give Duncan at hypertech in bonnybridge a phone. I think he leans more towards Jap stuff but he might be able to help.

Do your research if your thinking about one of the Glasgow guys.
Reconditioned engine terminology varies from company to company.

Quite mate.

Turns out that we didn't need the whole engine - just top end. All fixed now.
