WOW. It looks like Connor got a great day with some great cars to look at. I am totally in awe of how quickly this event was put together for the little lad.

it looks like it was a fanatastic event for little connor. its so humbling to see the effort everyone went to to put a smile on a little boys face. really touches you, well done to every single person involved.

Only 20 from me for now, as my laptop is dead. If anyone wants to see any more, or wants higher-res images, give me a nudge and I'll sort them at work next week.

Followed this guy out of the event, and it sounded absolutely glorious through the trees. Could barely hear my own rotary with that V8 thundering along.

Thanks for looking.

Default My poorly car!

Lol wasn't posing .. this pic was my poorly car!

The story:

The belt snapped just about 4 miles from where we had to get to - so off went the power steering and on came the battery light and warning light.

If you look at the top left hand side of the pic, you can see the remnants of the alternator belt !

The car was then just cooling off minus a few bits when this pic was taken.

I went to ask if anyone knew where I might get a belt and Connor's Dad told me about a garage he gets his parts from and even rang them to see if they could deliver it to him, however they had no vans in today ... A friend of Connor's Dad then offered to take me to the garage .. and ran me up there (but wouldn't accept any petrol money) - Connors dad even offered tools to help if we were stuck - Top people with much much more important things on their minds and for that we thank them from the bottom of our hearts

Trev one of the member from the NESF.co.uk forum then very kindly fitted the belt for us (again wouldn't accept anything from us - but we owe him a drink ) and we are very grateful, THANK YOU![IMG]The story: The belt snapped just about 4 miles from where we had to get to - so off went the power steering and on came the battery light and warning light. I want to say, well done everyone. I couldn't make it, but we are getting a lot of photos in to put on the site (www.connorsday.com), and seeing Connor's smile on every one really warms the heart! All of you got together and really made this one little boy's day.

If you have more photos, please send them over. webmaster@interlifedesigns.net

We want to put up as many as we can so Connor can see them all, so send away!

Also, don't forget to donate to the charity Connor's family chose at http://www.justgiving.com/Connors-day-2012 and also get your t-shirt with the proceeds going to the same charity at http://blipshift.com/products/connors-day

Again, well done everyone!
