1970 Lincoln continental mark III with the god-like 7 liter V8 (429 cobra jet). Head gasket blew in 3 places. scrapped it a year later.

1990 nissan stanza 2.4. sold

1990 subaru loyale wagon. lost 2nd and 3rd gear. donated it to the kidney foundation. last trip it was able to make was to get to the DMV to register my:

1988 saab 900 2.0L turbo. Tweaked this baby out and had it doing 0-60 in about 6.2 seconds. I had a CV joint going on me, and one day it just let go. I had all glass open, so I didn't hear my poor engine suddeny getting redlined. The heat spiked and blew the radiator.

2002 impreza TS. lovin' it.

I'm 24, and have only been driving for 2 1/2 years, so my friends think this is a minor achievement...

WV Jetta 1.8 CL, F reg - a lovely first car, only cost me 1200

A Pug 306 DTurbo P plate, - another lovley car, sadly squashed and written off when a log lorry decided to miss judge a turn, blocking both lanes of a B road, in the wet, and at night, which I slid into. Bye Bye No Claims.

A Vectra 1.8 LS N plate. Hmm, what can I say. It was a bargain.

Impreza Sport on an R plate - My first scooby, at 23. With the squished Pug couldn't even dream about turbo insurance, this cost me £1,500 for a years insurance as it was.

Current - Impreza Sport Special, Y plate. - Got this at the end of August as an ex demonstrator (came with 16 inch Golt turbo wheels too). The miles were mounting on the other one (76k) so thought about a turbo. Unfortunatley the insurance is still unreasonable. Still, one years ncb now, so shouldnt be too long now

Not bad for 2 and a bit years.

PS - england just scored !!!

Let me think....

driving 10 years

1. $#ite brown Mini Clubman traveler with nice vinal seats (yummy)

2. $#ite brown Metro City X - so rusty a gust of wind blew the ariel and part of the front wing clean off... failed MOT as floor pan 'fell off'

3. Nissan Sunny (not $#ite brown)....snapped timing chain RIP.

4. Renault 19 16v.... rev happy monster...faster you drive more bits fell off...but a great car.

5. Chevvy Lumna 3.6 whilst I lived in Philadelphia, PA (USA)....like a double bed on wheels....tried very hard to break the auto gearbox but it wouldn't

6. Aha...return to uk.... MY97 Turbo Wagon in green, exhaust air filter and stuff.

7. MY00 DBM Turbo...pretty much as above with bigger wheels and AP brakes.

and now.

Fiat Punto GT Turbo (wifes mota)
P1 with a flew extra bits

And all without an accident or any points...

Ian.

Ford Capri 2.8I - YES I KNOW
Ford Capri 2.8I Special - YES I KNOW AGAIN
TVR Tasmin Coupe 2.8 - always smelt of petrol
