Default Automatic to manual wiring

Evening guys. I am the owner of a 97 jdm Forester Stb. For the past 16 month its been undergoing major modifications. It is now fitted with 2.5 fully forged cdb engine,6 speed and alkatec ecu. It has failed 3 mapping sessions due,we think to the automatic loom causing issues. Drives ok on light throttle but begins to hesitate badly when you try to push on. My question , is there anyway to mod the loom to disable the automatic side of things ? Thanks in advance.

Have you disconnected /removed the TCM (Transmission control module) ?? as it has various links to the ECU

It might not be the problem but from my understanding if it has avcs heads that were made to go with a 6 speed that has a neutral position switch check the connections. Someone on here was running a newage engine with alkatec with a 5 speed and it didn't like it. When he changed it the problem was sorted. Or was it the switch that was changed. Can't remember but have a look.

Cheers Nossy, not got avcs heads, but auto loom has reversed ecu signal for neutral position so will look into that.
