Got to be a 2.0 litre CDB built up to a 2.1 stroker, Turbo wise Im not sure they do a really big twin scroll turbo to support 550bhp, but I could be wrong!! Have you thought about some of the billet twin scroll turbos like the SC46, LM450, would make a very fast road car with excellent spool and be just under 500bhp with other supporting mods!!!

A good mate of mine has a lm450 twin scroll turbo on his JDM and to say its rapid is an understatement lol and he's just under 500bhp and not a lot keeps up with him.

Yeah it was until the owens turbo shat itself after 700miles and they wouldn't cover it under warranty due to being over 12 months old.. on to a rotated EFR now just fitting it all atm

550bhp is way over the top for a road car in my opinion, not drivable to its full potential.
Go to 450bhp tops and save a fortune

A stock location twin scroll 550 bhp turbo is going to be an absolute pain to even get to fit.

The SI drive in the hatchback sort of does this anyway as mines around 450 in sport and 530 in sport sharp

This. And haven't you only driven something like 300 miles in it since you bought it last year?

Personally, I'd prefer a more spooly and more driveable 450bhp than a laggier 550bhp. And nobody could argue that 450bhp isn't enough grunt to swiftly overtake a slowcoach Prius driver and generally have some fun!

yes the above is me a complete idiot , plan on enjoying it for the forseeable future and thanks to some great advice from a member on here i think im going to get my hands on a mega maf tube and swirl pot in boot and get bob tweak it to around 475 that will do me i think i will put a full stop there

431 is very rapid on the road here do i really need anymore i dont think so

but good to have a few options
