Default Squeaking brakes.

When braking while reversing my brakes make an awful squeaking/screeching noise. Is this common on all Subaru's ?. Its a 2001 bug fitted with black diamond predator pads and newage front and rear discs pcd 100 swrd 8 groove(brembo).

Thanks for the reply but as l didn't fit them myself l can only assume that they have had some put on, but l will ask. Not knowing what anti seize is l will guess it stops the noise, Yes ?

Mine does exactly the same, changed rear discs and pads yesterday and it's still the same but only in reverse.

I'm told its a common fault/problem, just thought someone on here had a solution to the problem.

Just a thought, but are the retaining springs in place in the calipers ? if not, you can get various knocks and squeks occurring .

The shim on mine became loose and would make that noise when reversing.
