Default It's been a while

I've had a Escort Cosworth for a few years which I've really enjoyed owning but now of late have got a bit bored of the usual shows meets etc. And want to start doing a few track days.Couldn't bring myself to use the escort on track and got a really good offer from a previous owner for it so it has since been sold.
Once the escort had gone I started looking for a replacedment that's when I got offered a 03 jdm spec sti8 so thought I'd go take a look car had been sitiing and only done 3000m in the last few years but under the grime it looked to be a nice car and apart from the horrid suspension drove really well.
The day it came home after a wash off

First off it was sent to Rich at FB tuning four a full service inc. cambelt to be safe.
Once back I gave it a bit more of a clean and fitted a full 3" APS exhaust

Ive done my first track evening at brands in it and it performed without fault all evening apart from me cooking the brakes so I've been onto godspeed to sort this also suspensupion will be changed before the next one.
Tyres and wheels have already been sorted 18" turinis fitted with Yokohama ad08's

Nice car perfect for track days and maybe a bit of sprinting.

Nice JDM. What pads & discs are/were in it? I use my Widetrack as a trackday/sprint car and use the oem brake setup with performance pads (DS2500's) and grooved discs which have always worked well. Although I am looking to buy godspeed disc conversions for the fronts in the future.

Been looking into sprinting would like to have a go next year once it's sorted.

I'm running the standard brembo's at the moment with Mintex pads which I cooked quite quickly I've now ordered Godspeed discs front and rear with performance friction z rated pads was going to go for ds2500's but the fronts are twice the price at £275 a set and Ian assures me the PF pads will be as good.
