Default Mudflap reccommendations?

Mudflaps on my Blob are getting very tired now so planning to replace them very shortly! Any reccommendations from you guys? Scoobyworld seem to be the best price/quality so far!

I'm after blue buddy, sorry Are the mini ones really small, or only a little smaller than the full size?

I ordered those mini flaps in black from ScoobyWorld the other day for some paint protection; I don't like the massive special stage flaps as this is still just a road car....

I understand I prefer to see the tyres but I work down a gravel road an it's just to protect the paint.

I sized up the mini flaps when my car was serviced at Scoobyworld. They were a little too mini for my liking.

I would thoroughly recommend these guys;

http://www.performancecreations.co.uk/

Did a stellar job for my car (MY15 STi) and were nice enough to say yes when I asked for a cheeky discount!

I opted for the more durable Kaylan Polyurethane material btw.

for me rallyarmor all the way... I have them on my WRX hatch and they look very professional and do the job perfectly.... also very easy to fit and the fit was 100% perfect as well

I have some performance creations ones in my garage as the fit for my hatch was terrible and they are not in the same league as the rallyarmor ones for quality etc

Another vote for the RallyTechs, quality flaps, brackets, fitting kit and easy to fit on my blob. I've put a set of Rallyflapz off ebay on my classic and the front STI decals peeled off within a few months, although I've replaced the decals it maybe best as said to steer clear.

Thanks for the kind words about our products guys

One important thing to remember is that our kits are minimum 4mm thick which complies with FIA & MSA regulations.......as far as I'm aware all of the other brands mentioned in this thread are 3mm thick, so not even rally legal.

I don't think people buy a flap because they are rally legal if they are going on a road car it is how they look and how they fit which is the biggest issue as you don't want to start having to drill bodywork to make them fit as if you ever take them off you have holes you need to fill.....

a lot of the flaps on rally cars I see are not made by a company they are flaps made by the drivers or teams and they do as they want them to to get rid of water and the like splashing up around the car it is only when you get to the big budget rallies that they have bespoke ones

Well that's true and I suppose some people prefer form over function......
Our kits function is the main priority.

And for our kit it's only the 08-13 kit that require you to drill into the fender, the 93-01 and 02-07 kit are direct fit, they only need a small hole drilling in the inner wheelarch to secure the bracket.

The OE Subaru Spats are very good. I have fitted them after the horrors I found hiding on my Blobeye.

Just fyi, the main reason I went with my above choice is the fact that they actually produce the kit for my car (which has been out for well over a year now).

The case of 'function over form' does not even come into the equation if you cannot update your model year stock.

Barring importing from overseas (and then additionally getting stung on import duty), I'd rather support a local British company as far as I'm concerned.

Mine from Rally-Tech. They are quality flaps. 4mm thick polyurethane. Don't flap around like cheap inferior pvc ones. Just need some decals to finish them off.
@ Tim. Could you supply me with a set of decals?
