I wanted to get a set as well but after reading one of the build threads on here and the guy removed the existing pair to find all manner of crud jammed behind I have some reservations. They may have just been a poor fit, or cheap? Can anyone shed some light on this.

Bought a set of rally flapz for my blob on eBay. Not being a fanny and getting too exited about all this pish, they fit quite well, come with everything required and I can't really say anything bad about them. Only one tiny hole has to be drilled on the inner most fixing, but then you will always have to do that.
No wings are drilled etc.
Wtf is a fender

Not with the RallyArmour flaps, they are an awesome fit and no drilling is required. May not be as thick as some of the other pads that I have had, though would still say that they are the best quality that I have experienced.

Do they use a clamp then? I would much rather drill one 2mm hole than have a clamp rub through, rust and generally foost up the chassis leg.
I had to put new wings on my car when I bought it because the flaps that were on it were clamped to the wings and had destroyed them through rubbing and general corrosion.
Might be ok if your in England, but up here we have too much salt on the roads

No clamp, I guess it's just a strong bracket. Had mine on a while now and can't think of anything negative to say.

If there is a group buy I'd be interested. I bought some blue ones off eBay and against 02c they look crap. I'd want the rally tech blue ones as they look a good match

So what attaches them to the car? I like the rally flapz ones as they use two plastic push in fixings in the factory position and one tiny self tapper on the lip of the chasing leg (a nonsense bit of the body)
So no danger of rust forming on the wings as your just using factory fixings.

Is it not very similar? Was two plastic grommets and a screw front and back on the blob

This is how mine fit, no drilling, no bolts to rust the wings. Easy simple and effective fitment.
Sorry my mud flaps are covered in mud.

really happy with the service from Ian at performance creations too.
I've got the 4mm on my Hatch .. about £70.
only drilling is for the fixing push in clips on the PLASTIC on the fender trim.

You offer up the bracket, mark the plastic trim, drill....

What's a fender?
Looking at your hatch spats, obviously need drilled because they have no holes in them, the bug, blob and hawk all have holes already.
I've seen a hawk recently with rusty front wings! All because it had mudflaps attached with bolts instead of push for plastic fixings

The fronts on the 2015 fit to existing holes (NO DRILLING).

The rears just need the plastic drilling.

So I think they should be fine
