The large cylinders are for the gas adjustment and the skinny cylinders are the hydraulic bump stops.

They're so pretty. Shame they'll never get seen.
I've been told driving on them is like riding a magic carpet they're so smooth.

So what's the plans for the car once it's finished? With the quality of work and amount of time put in to it, it'd be a shame if it didn't find its way to the starting line of a special stage at least once.

Lol. With 570hp it doesn't qualify for any stage work.
It will be used as I used it before. My weekend toy to go baiting supercars with.

Can you use 570bhp to it's full potential on the public roads? Are you not at all tempted to do some form of motorsport to give it a proper testing/thrashing?

He's not going to drive it on the roads either, just look at it, then take it apart n put it back together again, coz he's a massive tart

You truly are the best kind of mental I'd love to have a a weekend toy that is for intents and purposes a rally car.

On a different note, how did you find the old coilovers (the bloke from Banzai seemed to like them)? I'm debating getting shot of the BCs I've got at the moment and really want to restore some of the compliance the car used to have.

Im lucky enough to have mates with a few serious cars Neil and we often go out for an early morning raid. Chasing F40s and 650bhp lambos in my home made WRC car is where it will be or me, its amazing fun.

I haven't the cash or time to compete properly so it has no interest to me. Maybe if I was given a sponsored drive id be game.

The KW V3 dampers were absolutely superb on the road offering a very well balanced car with very complaint ride and pin sharp handling. They only reason im swapping is the need to get a WRC damper in there with the now massive caster angles.
Ive little experience with the BC stuff but would confidently say the KWs would be an improvement.

Cool. The BCs are the biggest issue I've got with my car right now, well that and the fact I'm debating starting again with a GT86.

Neil I went from bc er to kW competition 2 ways and the difference is amazing bc s would nt soak up the bumps on road or track. I've had 2 wheels in air of curbs on track on kW and not felt a thing.
Bc waste of time.
Driven on v3s to also very good again night and day over a bc

Interesting shocks.

Is there a separate adjuster for high and low speed?

Are you going to get the shocks dynoed to find a good setting, alternatively who is going to set them up?

Seeing as I bought them he doesn't have them anymore. They can be purchased from WRC spares and then will need modifying to fit a road car upright. Theyre not a direct bolt on item.

Yes they have individual high and low speed adjustment for bump and rebound. You can see the dials in the photos.
Dave will set them up at a mid point for Irish Tarmac when they're fitted. Enough of guys in the circles know what works well so I'll go with their recommendation as a starting point.
