Update then...focus at the start of the year was to sort the back end of the house out; roof lanterns and a new swanky ally conservatory. Issue with that was the only storage was in front of the garage, this gave me enough roof to squeeze in but not actually do anything. We were aiming to be done by June latest but three months of rain screwed that up as we needed at last one clear week to remove the old roof and fit the new one. When work did get underway it was l o n g but that wasn't the real issue; the mouth breather had ignored the roof lanterns install instructions and built big old school upstands. The upstands were far too small of the lanterns, didn't support them and had only been glued in place with mastic. My blimming expensive top end lanterns looked like a pile of 5hite and after measuring up the apertures were over 70mm short each side. ****. Which meant I had to sack him off and take over. The. I found out there had been no building regs or planning submissions and no party wall, agreement. ****. Sorting that **** out has cost me the last three months; had to get a structural engineer in, the local building inspector and rebuild the roof. Oh, my neighbour...the one I need th party wall agreement with is his mum. Talk about 5hiting on your own doorstep.

That was 5hite but I proposed in the top of a mountain and got a positive reply...so that makes the year a good one to date:

I'll admit to faffing with the S2k a bit too...but that's all done, I think I'm gonna sorn it and buy an x type estate

The wagon then. I've taken the front bumper off as I've had a very kind offer from a clay modeller (he is working for Ferrari at the mo); he is going to prep my bonnet and bumper for paint

I'm hoping to get some time this week to trim the balance to sort the hose run for the cai for the oil cooler. I also need to replace the cai hose for the blower. I foolishly bough single skin hose and it's all gone rusty.

Next is trimming the fuel lines and adding the -an adapters, then I can fit the pump/filter bracket and finish the fuel system.

Phew.

Come on man, I'm not getting involved with the organization of the wedding...I'm actively avoiding it

I'll (and I'm sure Banny and Micky will be the same!) be sat waiting for the invite to drop though the door

Indeed. Ian forgets that I have his phone number and home address. I'll happily send loads of shite to his house and phone if we don't get an invite.

Maybe we can have a get together before the date, would be fun...as long as Micky and Trev are allowed through customs and Banny has some clothes on

Cheers Aaron...yeah it bloody better deliver after all this graft, although it's been a while since I really made any progress I hope you were wearing anti blood clot socks for your protracted bog read

Bio, its a tradition; my house has ***** drawn all over it where we have torn it apart and rebuilt it...then plastered over them. Looks eerily similar to your signature eh

Micky that would explain why I keep getting those cold calls from Asian companies trying to sell me Viagra and guns

You forget, I'm dual nationality! My scouse accent makes me feel perfectly at home in the Mold/Wrexham area - I have Welshlish on my passport so get to go through the priority channel at the border
