yes same ones as on eBay ,,,,gussy would be a better person to ask about weather they whistle as my car hasn't moved yet lol ,not sure they would be a good idea on a every day car as there isn't a seal as such , happy with the quality though

engine bay is more or less there now just a bit of tidying to do , its now running again but still need to do one or two more bits of wiring before all the seats and stuff go back in and then it still needs mapping for the alkatec ,, also fitted boost oil pressure and temp gauges

seats are now back in and the interior is starting to look like a car again

starting to get there now ,, been finishing off the bits of wrring inside for everything as with the loom being stripped iv had to wire all the extras in from scratch and I'm not great with wires so have had to take my time a bit

still waiting on the spoiler to be sprayed and iv got another front bumper for it as I'm not happy with the fit of the current one

need to fit the mud flaps and check everything is tight and I think thats about it then until mapping and wheel alignment

once its out of the garage in the daylight ill get some pics up

still waiting on the new bumper and spoiler to get here but its more or less ready ,oh and need to fit my harnesses, should be ready for a MOT next week and then ill book mapping for the alcatek

interior is now finished ,, standard ecu is just so it runs, the alcatek is hidden under the dash

still doing a few bits to it as I'm not completely happy with the spec so upgrading some stuff,,, but got it out in the daylight for the first time the other day and got to say it looks very nice ,, since the pics the new bumper is fitted and spoiler is on but still not happy with the spoiler so will be getting a different one done I think lol

this is now complete and ready for sale , will be going up for sale properly in mid jan once I'm back from holiday,, but happy to talk to anyone interested in it now and go over any details

was always my intention to sell once I was finished mate ,i was going to use it for a event or two but I can't bring myself to get it dirty let alone hurt it on the track lol ,, at the min my OCD is kicking in with finger prints lol

iv got another cashmere yellow STI I'm sorting out to sell next year some time aswell but thats staying as a standard car this time lol

here is the current spec in case anyone doesn't want to look though the posts

Shell prep

shell has been fully stripped bare and all sound deadening removed
extra plating added to the front turrets for more strength
front panel was cut off and made stronger and lighter
tunnels welded into the front of the chassis legs to allow for the front mount piping to have a shorter and safer run under the headlights
full weld in roll cage ,including dash bar and though to the turrets roof bars and seat bars
sill stand holes welded in
fully welded in place parcel shelf
lots of tags have also been added around the car to allow the loom and other bits to be secured safely and neatly
rear arches have been rolled and flared for extra room
interior sprayed silver
outside and engine bay sprayed Skoda dynamic blue
underside fully undersealed for extra protection

Chassis-front
newage front end used
Newage front subframe (white)
Newage front arms (highly polished)
white line adjustable 24mm ajustable anti roll bar (red)
CDF front drop links (race bushes)
Newage steering rack with modified universal joint


Chassis-rear

R180 hubs
R180 DIFF
R180 shafts
Rear WRC design tubular subframe (white)
Solid mount rear T brace (bushes replaced with solid mounts)
Rose jointed fully adjustable lateral arms (new)
Rose jointed adjustable trailing arms (new)
whiteline 24mm ajustable rear ARB (sprayed red)
CDF rear drop links (to be fitted)



Chassis protection - general exterior

fully undersealed
alloy sump/gearbox/rear diff guards (powder coated gold)
Kevlar sill guards (new)
Kevlar tank guard (new)
MSA mud flaps (new)
sill stands in gold

Carbon WRC type teardrop mirrors (new)

quick update for anyone who might be interested ,,, been in the garage a while over the winter not doing much ,, but iv now fitted the 6 speed box and rear end ,, and have done some engine bay bits to tidy things up (not to everyones taste but I like it ), added fuel rails and swirl pot ,, slowly getting there and hopefully won't change my mind about spec this time lol

thought id give a bit of a update on the rally car build ,,,, well its sold now ,,, brought by a rally driver all the way on the other side of the world in OZ ,,, so its been on a ship at sea for the last few months but its just arrived over there ,,, very proud to have a car being used properly over there

iv got a blob sti that I brought to fly around in while I make my mind up but I think iv chosen the next motor lol ,there was a few on the list but iv got it down to one or two now lol,, im after a Bentley GT SPEED if I can get one that I like ,,, or possibly a Supersports but I prefer the speed really ,,, or possibly a M5

yeah you did mate , it was the only time id taken it out in the daylight as I didn't want to hurt the new paint lol
