It will be built, actually looking at 2.1 kits now as there's very little difference in build cost.

I'm setting a ceiling of 400 with this build, I've been there and don't it with 600+, totally different route I'm taking with this car.

VF37 twin scroll with a 2.1 should be more than adequate for the road.

I've parted it out, too much money tied up in a car that's not being used. I've kept quite a few tasty parts for the R though (6 speed etc)

I'm going to fill that space in the garage with another money pit in the new year though

If you're totally sure on it then you'll save a bit in going with a scdb and 11mm stud if sticking below 500hp.

Who you using for build?

We're going to be building it. I'm good friends with an engine builder anyway. Once this is built and tested we're going to be offering it as a service too.

It begins. Hopefully I'll have it stripped down for thorough inspection over the weekend.

Think I'm gonna go with Andy Williams and yes, I'm holding out and just overspec it.

Piece 2 of a rather large collection I'm gathering. As soon as I've located a decent downpipe I'll order the turbo so I can get the lot ceramic coated.

Went to Santa Pod on Sunday for a laugh, thought I'd stretch her legs a little.

Managed a (IMO) respectable 13.0

If the HG wasn't on its way out before, it certainly is now 😀

Finally got around to fitting some stickers on today, not sure about the fog covers as they look a bit small. But certainly better than plain.

Progress has been made on the refurbed inlet manifold, all unessesary knubs ground off and smoothed. Should be ready for paint soon.

Fuel rails and top breather pipes have been painted too, ready for building up.

It's on the road now, well when it's dry of course lol.

Getting tucked away for winter now, while it has six speed and refreshed engine.
