I also was aiming to keep my downpipe as I was led to belive it was 3" but that was wrong too

Tapered down to 2.5 or 2" by the looks of it, I have a 3" milltek back box to go on, so was going to get a 3" center pipe made to fit, but then had to source a proper 3" to 3" downpipe.
So I found this H&S near new condition

Obviously the costs have spiralled as usual, but it's for the better and I want to do it right first time.
Had to get a few sensors etc and a few bits n bobs for block, new rocker caskets as changed heads,
Also for safety and flow got a new 11mm oil pump with valve mod to stop it from sticking which is usual cause on bearing failure

Wideband loom from Tim at jti (what a pleasant guy to deal with) and also avcs loom on way, newage crank trigger G11 on way, loads of bits n bobs needed at last minute lol and there's me thinking I bought everything prior.

the oil pump is a myth.......the jammed / sticking PRV does occur very occassionally but is normally caused by debris rather than initial cause

Thanks. I know of one failing just recently on rollers, so better safe than sorry was my initial thought of spending on one

be careful which variety you buy as some are not value for money IMO - carry various options in stock along with most engine components

Not as bad as some I seen, cracked all the way to valve seat, them ones are mint considering, you will not find avcs heads without cracks, if you do then that's very rare and lucky as most avcs have cracks, some worse than other.
But them above, you will not find better! On a used set. I give you the challenge to find if so.

Tim is slowly assembling the block together along with some carefull cleaning taking place, decoked the crowns as they were pretty dirty (thanks Tim )
Pics below show RCM 11mm modified oil pump which cost me half an arm , new oil modene again cost other side of my arm and water pump all plumbed in for now.
Will show more as it progresses but the start has begun.

Well had a bit of time to pop over to tims yesterday and fitted new water pipes to turbo, fitted a few sensors etc to block and put inlet on ready now for billet rails to run parallel.
I've gone for the RAWerehouse rails as they have good reviews for a fraction of price compared to others.

Also got some bride rails for my coberau seats as modding stock rails makes seats sit too high apparently so decided to buy proper rails instead.

I also decided to get a 6 speed dccd box too, I've sourced a widetrack blob box but can't collect for a couple of weeks yet due to seller can't get to it.
It's had a rebuild with Carbon syncros.

You may as well upgrade the shifter bushes as the box is out to something like Perrin or Kartboy

Hope so,just a big weight difference, but suppose it will hold down a bit of stability .

to my knowledge no one supplies uprated UJ bushes (which generally are the ones that actually wear) and we have found that it is this that makes the biggest difference to the shift quality for our competition/trackday customers...........

As said, what is the complete kit? UJ bushes? Would be better if you just posted a picture of what you supply and price.
