if they are so bad why have they never been shut down...?
99% of SN users have more likely never been there never mind bought off them. jump on another band wagon OP!! |
It's quite cool their new premisses which was a car park originally. It's like a Japanese dealership, they have turned a car park into a dealer ship.
They did start off doing crap, but they sell all sorts of exotica now! |

However they do sell clean cars to you just need to know what your looking for. Theres a few members on here who have had cars from them, I took a few in part x and they were minters. For example Glen_S204 bought a S204 of me and I took a mint 2006 spec c Arai which Glen bought from KTC with delivery miles on it. :) Immy |

This is a very important post. Please everyone be aware that Motob Hub in Keighley is Keighley Trade Centre, trading with a different name. Everyone on this forum knows that KTC has a very bad reputation and now they have just changed their name to Motor Hub. They have even a new website......how many people will they cheat with this name?
Beware!

Irrespective of the truth.... ktc have got enough comment data and user data to take legal action over most of the comments on this site and thread.
Just because your sat behind a pc screen doesnt make it impossible for litigation. |
We've sourced quite a number of cars from KTC, for our customers. All of which have been excellent cars. We run the same business as KTC, just for regular run of the mill cars and occasional performance car. There is a risk with buying any second hand car. The same applies with buying from a trade centre. Go to view armed with info and maybe a car expert. When sales yards see certain cars not selling they look into the reasons and reduce the cars accordingly to suit. We've had many bad reviews on google, regarding faulty cars. For instance elec window stopping working months down the line. Towbar elecs not working air bag/ eng m lights popping on after 6 months ect ect. When customers buy from a trade establishment they expect way too much. Main dealer level care demands main dealer price tags. Can't have it both ways. ??!!

Well said paddy...
I buy a few cars for work.. some i know are stinkers but you takes your chances.... Local govt has powers to close any illegally run business..... so why have they not done so to ktc? Leave the lads alone... or make a valid complaint via TS. |
We should be more concerned over the scammers on SN who rip us off!!
Plenty of that still going on daily. |
I'm more concerned with the amount of so called "Subaru Specialists" in the North who have given me a below par service. ...and I rewrote the rule book on 2nd hand car sales!

I have probably been to KTC around 20 times over the last 8 years, yes I have seen absolute dogs, and to be honest If I was the owner of this establishment I would have be embarrassed to have them on my forecourt, however I’ve seen cars just as rough on other forecourts, but it’s the sheer volume at KTC that “then” made it look worse than it actually was. Things have since changed, there marque range is no longer just Japanese motors, and the price of car is no longer £3’000-£20’000 as it was back 8 years ago, and now more like £2’000-£100’000. I’m aware that some members on here have had bad dealings with them, but I suspect quite a lot of people are jumping on the band wagon slating them when they know of no first-hand experience and are just echoing someone else’s complaint for the sake of it. It happens all to frequent in my opinion. As said above, it’s the Snet con artists that need addressing foremost.

. 2005 from memory bud. As said above though, they were just like any other dealership, but they always had around 100+ cars, so the wreckers were present on the forecourt, unlike a small establishment whom would “park them round the back”. Rob |

If they are so good why have they just changed their trading name ?? Good business is based on a good name/reputation. If they had built up a good name they certainly wouldn't want to change it would they. |

I've never been myself but have heard many horror stories about the place, and not just on this forum.
I also remember a video on youtube that a chap made about his experience there. It wasn't a good experience either... |
google search ktc problems and then try and claim its all hearsay, there's dozens of people who have actual bad experience with them. The saying goes, there's no smoke without fire, and ther eis plenty of smoke
I'm not quite sure why your trying to defend them so hard? they have dissolved companies and changes names several times in the past, why would they do that if all was on the level? |
