Looking good Brownpants :thumb:
They look loads better than that Mazda colour :D |
Couldn't agree more. You certainly found the best shade to date. Very pleased with the colour!!! :-)
|
whoops. thought i clicked a link on scoobynet, silly me :wonder:
|
Love the Fiat 750 colour, seems identical to Volks bronze :)
Apologies for not replying in October but Iv been off Scoobynet a while! The Mazda 11b is closer to the Rota bronze which is lighter & more grey/silver. Though we did do a few coats to get a deep rich colour. Was painted by my Chipaway guy from Hayes, Middx. |
Never thought about getting chips away to paint a set of wheels. How much did he charge for the set if you don't mind me asking? Loioks like a good job done!
|
I cant remember exactly as it was a while ago but was probably £45 to £50 per wheel.
|
Not too bad. Similar to power coating costs, but more colour choice and less risk of wheel damage through excessive heat.

I'm looking at spraying my wheels in the next couple of weeks, what paint code is this? its spot on for what I'm after! |
Awesome thread. I am keen to bronze up too - just don't want a brown or orange result! :)
|
|
I'd prefer a paint code so I can order from a supplier and get my mate to paint them properly

Yes! That's a much better pic. They look really good, colour is pretty good as well. I can see a tinge of green also.
Good spray job :thumb: Does anyone have any pictures of the bronze colour please? I know it's a very old thread but its the only one on the internet I could find about these colours! The images arent working anymore, would appreciate anyone posting any of rays or rota grid colours please. |

Few re-post pics below of mu wheels done in FIAT 750F MARRONE VULCANICO |
Thanks for the quick response, I gave up thinking no one would respond!
Just a couple questions. Whats the colour on those rims? You have a paint code? And is it painted or powder coated? I'm looking at getting Rota Drift Bronze from wheelpaints website and having someone powder coat on top of it for added protection? Or will the colour mess up because of that. Not sure how it works you see. Thanks. |
They were painted by me using rattle cans.
Paint name and code are in my post. I used this with great results. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-750F-...IAAOSwfVpYr1ga |
Just wanted to say thanks for the color code, it turned out perfect! https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...ce0a129c2.jpeg |
