Size of speakers for '07 Impreza???
 

Hey fellow Subaruers... can someone let me know the size of the speakers that come stock in the '07 Impreza, so i can change them?

can anyone enlighten on this thread as i want to do the same cheers peps!!!!

the speaker itself it 5.5" in diameter and approx 51mm deep :thumb:

just sat one on my desk and measured it :D

fronts-you will get 6 1/2 inch speakers into the holes,but make sure spacer rings/corsa pockets are used,otherwise the speaker will foul the window mechanism

rears-4" speakers is all it will take,unless you fancy modding the doors

i thought the backs are 5.25 not 4" was told this by and audio shop so who is right????????:wonder:

might be refering to 03/04/05 model which i think were in the parcel shelf...correct me if im wrong

Look at the sticky thread at the top of the page, has all the sizes in there MY07 is the same as MY01-06.... the doors didn't change ;)

PS the newage rear speakers are not in the parcel shelf, unlike the ooooold classic.

iv just got a 55plate newer shape wagon r sport are the spekers the same size in the back or are thay a difrent size?

the front are 6 1/5"

and the back 4"

is this right lol

also i would be looking for some alpine speakers dose any one no of any good ones?

6 1/2 in the front,4 in the rear doors

for alpine speakers get over on ebay"stores" some bargains to be had,whilst changing the front door speakers,make sure you fit a nice set of components with cross-overs and new tweeters,it improves it no end

infinitys can be had for as little as £38 for 61/2 components on ebay

Try and fit some 5.25 speakers in your rear door buddy,and then all will become clear :wonder:

iv just got some back 4" alpine components will thay just fit strate in oe will i need to make something.

also dose any one know hows best to remove the door cards front and back?

I have 5 1/4'' in the rear of my 07....an absolute doddle to fit and without having to drill anything either using the leftover flat plate from the front Corsa adaptor kit:)
