As you can see the crack marks area where it looks faded, more where it's been sat on tbh, but the rest of it is mint still

Well that's the right kind of leather for a start :thumb: you'll get it at any horsey type shop or on line.

Here you go, this will last you for years... damp cloth... rub the bar with it, then rub it all over the leather, then your good to go, don't worry if its slightly sticky and I mean slightly, it will soak in over a few hours... but it's not dangerous to people or pets, it's like food for leather.

Yours just looks like the leather has dried out a bit, so this will be perfect for it, it's what I use on mine and your leather is pretty much the same as mine, it will darken slightly, which is probably more like it was when new...maybe do it a couple of times in quick succession... then once every couple of months is more than enough.

Lol glad you approve, it's a heavy fecker, the 2 seater is more like a 3 seater and the 3 seater is like a 4.
I was thinking of selling it to some sort of wine bar hotel etc to get some good money for it, but I don't want to get rid but you know what women are like.
Well it's only ever had a warm damp cloth on it over the years to clean, but like I said it's quite old now and I must say has aged very well so the salesman was right when he said it gets better with age.
I'll deffo try that then as I'm a sucker for paying someone to clean it professionally :D

Is that bar colour or shade specific? And will it just clean or get rid of the fadeing and bring the colour back?
I thought you needed some sort of colour/shade pecific type of wax or something to bring it back to life?

Yeah mine are both 3 seaters but square arms and back, the cushions are like your big one in the middle and you can seat 4 no problem, I'm 5'11 and I can lye full stretch with my head on one armrest, which was one of the tests, hate being all bent up on the couch... :lol1: and also why we have two... I don't like sharing. :lol1:

But yeah 10 mins on each... work it into the creases and it'll recover in no time, don't go mental and put loads on, that bar should last like 10yrs and it's firm, rub bar... rub couch... nice and gentle. :thumb:

I don't buy mass produced modern furniture.I like mid-century stuff.
The last sofa I bought is a Danish leather classic design from the 50-60's. Over 6 feet long.Hand made in 1973. Lovely condition & using thick quality leather that you will never see in any modern sofa.All for the princely sum of £750 delivered.

Your probably right there! The seating is very good & comfortable but does have a low back.It's like some old cars that are beautiful to look at but not very ergonomic but the heart takes over the head & I love the build quality & the materials used.Being surrounded by things that give you joy that you have sought out yourself makes up for it.It took me about 2 years to find the sofa that was in great condition at the right price.
