I've never heard of any Alfa places being particularly cheap. Alfa Aid in Maidenhead (01628 788887) is a good place to find second hand parts for '80s and '90s cars plus a few consumables and known problem parts. Other than that there are people who specialise in things such as brakes. I always found the old Alfa dealers to be enthusiastic and amenable to giving 10-15% discount.
