Cool BMW M2 Ordered :)

After untold amounts of faffing about and considering anything from BMW F10 M5's to Audi TT RS's to 997 Carrera 2 S's I've gone and put a deposit down on a car I've not even driven!!

I fell in love with the looks of the M2 when it first arrived, and after watching and reading numerous reviews of them and seeing one in the metal I bit the bullet yesterday and my car and paid the deposit.

No demonstrators available as there's such a demand for them and all the dealerships seem to of sold the one they were originally allocated, hence the no test drive.

Sure It's not going to be the fastest thing on the road but I'm sure it will be enough for me, added to which by the time it arrives (10-12 months currently) there will be plenty of tuning options should I wish to mod it.

From what I've been told they are very capable cars, you should really enjoy ownership of one. In your 10-12 months lead time I'm sure a few more tuning options will pop up too. Good Luck!

A girl at my work is the partner of a guy that is supposed to be pretty well recommended for BMW tuning called Jason - http://www.bwchiptune.co.uk/

I have never used him so can't vouch personally.

I know Imran from Evolve Automotive so if it gets modded I'll take it to him. He's got a 800Bhp F10 M5 and also got a M2 on order

They did a version with some dodgy looking body kit on in homage to the 2002 Turbo. Looked a bit gash to me

Lol, do like these nice choice

What annoys me is BMW are bringing out a 140I why would they its so close to M2

Suppose m2 will hold its price now which is good...

Well done ...like it ...

Did think about the 240i but the stance on the M2 is so much better looking, that wide rear track is just

But awkward for me... A few days ago I bought my old Subaru back.... Picking it up tomorrow evening. I'll make a thread in "other marques" and pretend it's an Audi, Merc or BMW .

The M2 is reminiscent of the 1M which is one of the most aggressive looking M cars period, imo it trumped even the E46 M3 on that front

IMO all proper M cars look good. I just think that where car styling is at now in these modern times - BMW have some of the best looking cars. Especially of the M variety. The M2/M3/M4 all look amazing. Definitely better looking than the equivalent Mercedes or Audi I think.
