Lovely car to drive. It's an auto with paddle shift so best of both worlds.

It has pretty much every gadget that was available for it at the time. Apart from idrive which wasn't to fussed about anyway.

Just got to sell the Scooby now which is all clean, tucked away in the garage ready for the new owner.

After having 4 imprezas over 11 years, I think I've had enough of them. Enjoyed my time in them don't get me wrong.

And there is nothing wrong with growing old. Shame some other people on here can't admit it!

Tasty.

Think I prefer a little less speed but a lot more comfort! Where are my slippers?

m3 was like that too, mine had just about every factory option on it, not a single blank button, even had the rear sun blind lol

They are quality motors and make great sense as a used car purchase.

I did set out looking for a 330 and ended up looking at 335's.
But what I really wanted was an e92 coupe m sport in grey with auto/paddle shift. Engine was almost a 2nd priority but had to be a petrol 6 pot.

Definitely showing my age!

Best of both worlds, B8 avant petrol turbo Quattro stage 1 mapped stronic box, bags of comfort and nice cockpit, and with tidgy, type r as a toy for the raw frills (when it's finished that is )

They are a bit sexy. The M-sport bit is what I wanted too but I wasn't as patient as you in waiting

It's a nice vehicle don't get me wrong, but it just looks so bland and I wouldn't even blink at it if I saw it on the roads. Then again I am driving a Saab estate as my daily. I think you'll miss the weekend Subaru. I guess with the Subaru, you do get noticed for the wrong reasons AND the right reasons by people who can appreciate a decent Subaru.

Appreciate your feedback but I disagree. Everytime I walk past an e92 I have to stop and stare. When I used to return to my impreza in the car park, I was actually a little embarrassed. For a blast yes, the impreza wins but 99% of my time behind the wheel is just normal driving. For this, the BMW wins hands down.

I only started thinking of changing the scoob as I have been using hirer cars at work for long trips. It opened my eyes up to how far cars have moved on. Even my late blobeye wrx was no different behind the wheel to a 1993 classic!

Can't wait to have my wheels refurbished tomorrow and then spend Saturday washing, claying and polishing the e92!

Agree, mine is a bland colour (which helps on my street) but it's a stunning looking car. Quite a few around but they all seem to be 320D's, not the higher spec 3 litre 6-pots.

I do wish I'd got an M-sport for the styling but even with the right wheels, my SE spec looks gorgeous from the front.

And more people let you out of junctions than you think Especially with the child seat in the front

Because I had a budget and I'd rather have a mint 325 over a not so tidy 330. Plus grey m-sports are bloody hard to find with relatively low mileage. 220 bhp from a silky smooth straight 6 is enough for me.

It's a great shape and I think that will age very well. They just looks good from every angle.
