Default New Nismo Pulsar

Looks good and if it had over 300hp and good amount of torque could be the new direction for scooby owners????

I loved my old pulsar. Seriously quick cars. Made my modified Subaru look slow.

Intersting car but the type R will be the main one for everyone to consider

I love my juke Nismo as its different while the pulsar Nismo is just another hot hatch but it will sell as it looks the part well equipred and probably keenly priced

Looks awesome but I have heard it will have no more than around 260bhp.

With the high weight of modern cars that will not correspond to explosive performance, unfortunately.

If they ever make the one that was at the motorshow begining of the year, I'll be begging, stealing and borrowing. Imagine if it was a little mini R35 GTR with 4wd and DSG style gearbox. I've been looking at the Golf R and A45 AMG a lot lately on you tube and it'd be superb if Nissan produced something similar in a new Pulsar GTi-R. Be great to have the 4wd turbo hatch which you can get 5 people in.

This one..

Exactly what I was thinking! There needs to be more input from Japanese manufacturers other than Subaru...
Regards,

Subaru Collector 555.

Especially with that spoiler, still it is a nicer looking new design car, I'm guessing the car above pictured isn't the Base model?

I had one, 320 bhp, wasn't that impressed with it tbh, the impreza is a far better package IMO.

^^^

Very rare, the white ones in the UK. As the Japs kept hold of them for themselves (due to it being their national racing colour). That's why there are such a glut of black ones. Probably.

Unless of course they hardly made any in white lol

Relatively speaking, doesn't the GTIR have 'even more' of a chocolate engine and gearbox than the Subaru?

engines are pretty bullet proof, but the box is weak. White and Red were limited by number, I had a red uk one. Menacing looking cars in my opinion from the front

Lol, remember I have a spray gun.
This was a lightweight job no elec windows of any luxuries, was metallic grey before I painted it silver. I bought it with a destroyed engine, engines are just as old and worn as some subaru ones, not weak really.
Gearbags are rubbish too.
It under steered badly and wasn't that quick. But I can say I've owned one! Wanted one since I was at school

I rebuilt it with forged rods and pistons and a block from a primera gti in 2008, sorted the rusty rear arches and painted it silver then too

Well the last Nissan platform used by the Micra and Juke etc...WAS shared with Renault (Clio, Captur etc).

They are a bit more coy about the current platform's DNA, probably because Nissan see being related to Renault as a negative selling point.

Anyhoo Pulsar...as yet no mention of AWD = not interested. Would look better if there was a three door option too.

Was gonna go test drive a. Golf R later. But to be honest I want one of these. I just hope it gets 4wd and a decent amount of power/tunability

I don't think the two are comparable. Golf will be better built, better looking, more reliable and a lot faster.
This is just a glorified Renault Clio

Judging by all the VW and Audi's parked on the hard shoulder every week I would argue quite the opposite!
