Broken DVD Player
My mate has given me his JVC DVD player with digital cinema system. Cost him a few hundred quid about 3 years ago. Now it will play all kinds of discs except DVDs 
Any ideas why it won't play DVD discs? Have had it apart, cleaned the laser etc., but still no joy.
It plays music cds fine, so if I can't fix the DVD problem, it will make an excellent music player
