How can I find a companies VAT number
Hi all
I need to find out a number of companies VAT numbers for work - suppliers etc...........short of ringing them up is there a website for this???? I looked on companies house but it only has co reg number from what I can see.........

I don't know but if you phone up Customs & Excise they will.
Note any letterhead/invoice from the company in question should have the VAT number on it. Sounds like an exciting day ahead
