Tattoo's
Recently got 4 tattoo's taking my tally to 8, and planning more still.
Just wondering what everyone's opinions are on them? And if you have any? Discussion came up at work on thursday night between a few of us. Some saying that they are against them because it tarnishes your skin and makes you look unattractive whilst others (myself included) agree that it's our body so we can do what we want, plus I think tattoo's are a form of art...
Also, I go a bit weak at the knees when I see attractive women with lots of tattoo's...

Women or men, tattoos don't look good on everyone. I agree that it's your personal choice to have your whole body covered in tattoos, if you like. But for me, they can look too much and quite OCD, if OTT. I don't think people with good skin and good body need to hide behind them, despite them (the tattoos) being a spectacular work of art etc.
I'm not keen on permanent ink tattoos. Anything permanent on my skin would bore me to death, and I would want to wash it off, and change it into different design. That's why I do temporary Indian henna tattoos on myself.
I understand that for sentimental reasons for people wanting their loved ones' names tattoo-ed on them. I also get that some introverts externalise their inner being via their tattoos. I appreciate that.
The worst ever tattoo I've seen was on an overweight lorry driver's arm. It was a naked woman (not the lorry driver, but the tattoo on him). Seriously, what a chav thing to get tattoo-ed on your skin. It was so blatantly obvious that you could see it while he was driving his lorry down our village road, from the quarry hill.

I had a girlfriend years ago, who suited being tattooed, it kind of matched her personality, kind of wild free spirit who lived in the moment. My wife has two tattoos, while I don't mind them in itself, I don't think they suit her if that makes any sense.
Google Lou Hopper - I don't know who did her tattoos, she is a tattoo artist herself, so I would imagine she designed them herself - I think they look great on her now, not sure how she will look as the passage of time takes away her youthfulness.

Once upon a time they were cool and made people stand out as a bit of an individual, these days every retard has them, just marks a person as a sheeple to my eyes, take a look at football players, they're all doing the Beckham thing.
These days you're more of a rebel if you don't have one.

both arms fully done and chest, i love them and will keep on getting more. they aren't for everyone but everyone doesn't have to get them. a lot of tattoos tell a story as well.... i love that fact i know mine all have meanings behind them and i could talk for hours about them

Lots of threads on here, generally trolled by those who don't understand it or don't get it and who go to great lengths to express their opinion of why its wrong, why it will **** your life up, why having them makes you a pathetic sheep with no individuality, etc, etc etc...
Pretty much typical Scoobynet to be honest
