Amazing moon tonight.....
If you've not seen it, worth a look, very big, (it's closer than normal), and at about 3am will be orangey-red.
Next time will be 2030 something, so worth a look.

I work nights and have a very nice view outside the front door so will keep an eye out and snap a few pic's if it's as amazing as it's supposed to be.
It actually does look a lot closer though...

Anyone about? Looks rather beautiful! More obviously spherical than the usual disc impression. Fantastic colour!

Yeah I'm on here. Just nipped out the building to have another look. Don't know what it's like where you are but I've got the whole moon in a very, very dark red colour with the outer 'rim' a brighter red. Plus there's a little bit of 'light' on the moon at the very bottom. Not as bright as I imagined it to be but still impressive nonetheless...

Well, that was worth it. Back to bed now after a cuppa and a piece of toast.

I got up to see it, but a photo was well nigh impossible due to misty conditions.

WOW! Great pics!
I did wake up for a couple of minutes, looked through my window, and all I could see was a blatant 'go back to bed, there's nothing to see' scene. I couldn't be bothered attempting a bit more to catch its sight, so I went back to sleep.
