A funny one.
I told my husband that I'd be home by midnight
the hours passed and the margaritas flowed very easily
and around 3am a bit loaded i headed for home
just as i got through the door the cuckoo clock in the hallway started up
and cuckooed 3 times
realising my husband would probably wake up i cuckooed another 9 times
i was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick whited solution
in order to escape a possible confrontation with him
even when totally smashed 3+9=12 cuckoos
the next morning my husband asked what time i got in
i told him 12 midnight
he didn't seem p1ssed in the least
i was thinking i got away with that one
then he said we need a new cuckoo clock
when i asked him why he said
well last night our clock cuckooed 3 times
then said oh ****
cuckooed 4 more times
then cleared it's throat
cuckooed another 3 times
giggled cuckooed twice more
then tripped over the coffee table and farted.
