I use it to keep in touch with my family and friends. There are some good bargains to be had on some of the selling pages for Imprezas too!
Nothing wrong with it in my mind, Its nice to be able to keep in touch with people that you don't see very often.
Of course there are the people that will use it for attention seeking etc but tbh that's up to them, I just ignore what I want, filter out the stuff I don't have any interest it and that's it.

I spend more time on it then the fourms nowadays
User friendly
You can post up photos instantly with a smartphone
Instant messageing and nice to keep in touch with friends who you never seem to have the time to pick up the phone too
My new Buisness i manage is booming through fb
Post a few photos and I take a grand a week instantly
Never use newspaper advertinsing
That's old hat now
More successful then a website too
You can react instantly with your customers
And free too which protects the margins
Infact I'm never off the damn thing and the misses is on it nearly all day with her fiends and family
It's the modern way

I consider Facebook in the same way as a virus or malware. Its an intrusive program that tries to access your email account and sends out stuff in your name without your express permission.
I've never used it, and never even been on it just for quick look, yet my peerblocking software flags up loads of hits every day.

Really? I have all IP lists blocked and never get a single alert, I'd suggest it's the gay **** sites you frequent

Hillarious.
Posters who are always on here accusing people who use facebook of not having a life.
As for using FB, if you're worried about FB stalkers lock your page down and make sure you know your "friends". Its not hard. If you want to openly post all about your private life then don't complain about having unwanted attention.
If you've got stuff bring sent out you've given that permission. If you're still wearing that foil hat set up your account with a one off email address. Etc, Etc.
It's becomming a great business tool.
FB is what you make of it, nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, I understand. I know some people that are even afraid to use even their mobile phones for normal purposes, never mind Facebook via phone or computer.
Have you tried a tablet yet? I mean the computer one e.g. iPad or Galaxy tablet? They're fool proof to use.
Only bantering with you Loz. Don't rip my head off for it.

I was reminded a few days ago of a girl that was on playboy night calls whilst I was in my tugging purple patch before the turn of the millennium.
I thought I'd look her up, but all I can find is one photo of her since she obviously retired and got
Married to a rock star. My plan was to find out where she was nowadays and try to see if I could find her and work my charm.
Facebook really can't tell you what you want to know about people.
I had to settle for a retro **** instead.

Is that right Pete, born in 75, drives a STi, IP address recorded by Scoobnet. Enjoy all that protection not being on Facebook gives you.

Well said.
There was a time when almost every joker from Muppets acquired more than one identity for fun. Some of them reported that there was a stalker moderator who intentionally sent their alter egos the links to Viagra and fat burning pills; just to wind them up. It was difficult to say who was committing the foul act. I suppose both parties, really.

As for Facebook groups it's generally full of idiots with Hitler complexes or places used for sad people to post the same thing everyday or use it to post links to Internet forums to discuss the posters/subjects rather than post on the forums etc for fear of looking stupid.
