Someone said MotoGp was boring....

...although if Marquez keeps winning it could get boring if I'm honest. I think you have to click the youtube link to watch.

What do you mean if he keeps winning, he's won 11 out of 15 races already this season, including 12 podiums and 11 poles!

It's hard to argue after watching the vid but it's like seeing a new trailer for the latest action film, it looking really good then having the disappointment when you realise that you have already seen all the best bits in the trailer.

Thats not to say its golf but it could be better as could f1, although in the case of moto gp it's dropped down a league IMO, I'm just surprised to see that many bikes on the grid.

But let's be honest, until the last few races the YAmaha has been way off pace. It's only just caught up and Rossi and Lorenzo have capitalised.

i never said that he's obviously talented, what i was saying is, put rossi or lorenzo into the honda team, it would have been alot closer. The factory honda definitely has a big advantage, thats a fact.

Tbh if you want to watch bikers doing something spectacular, the TT is the answer.

Good call, the Isle of Man TT is my favourite race across all motorsport each year. It does have me worried for the riders from start to finish which is not the best though.

It is what it is at the end of the day. You've got to admire the commitment, the same with staged rallys. The level of ***** required to keep the throttle pinned through a corner where you have no idea what maybe on the otherside is quite something.

I'd wager if Marc was on a Yam he'd still be world champ, he is an immensely talented rider, that's a fact!

100% the Yamaha has lacked oomph in comparison to the Honda this year, it was definitely a lot closer last season.
No doubt at all on marquez's talent but the bike was clearly head and shoulders above until the last few races and Marquez has been outdone.

Immensely talented yes but a miracle worker no. 2 world champions of the past haven't been able to win on the yam at the start of the season but given a few upgrades and now they are winning races again.

I dont think so, there has been a known advantage for the Honda`s, yes recently and very recently Yamaha has caught up,
Its a little like Merc AMG this season in F1,
The works Honda has a edge over customer Honda`s also,
its why I wonder how Pedrosa has managed to keep his ride, he has been so poor on a really sorted bike.

It is strange that Pedrosa was given another 2 year contract unless he is very important when it comes to testing, but I doubt that. I was shocked they didn't try to lure Lorenzo away from Yamaha whilst he has been having problems.

Listen other people agreed with me on this point so you're wrong and pipe down

Stoner was an anomaly that no one could explain how he was doing what he was doing on the ducati. His riding style just clicked with that bike.

Anyway as soon as he stepped off that honda and hurt himself he pussied out of the sport, so he doesn't count

It's not rocket science. Even Julian Ryder said last weekend to be convinced of Marquez he'd have to swap manufacturer.
Oh and it's not an NSR anymore, its the RCV lol.

Stoner used to just drive past Rossi like he was standing still, Rossi famously said in response to Stoner complaining about his overtaking being too hard that if stops driving past me on the straights I'll stop pushing on the overtaking. (Or something to that affect)

Stoner was lucky in someways, he clicked with a Ducati that could out power every other bike on the grid.

Stoner and Carl Fogarty must know something other riders don't.

I'm sure some people on here will have seen this but it's a fascinating read for anyone with an interest in F1 engineering.

A place I worked at a few years ago rebuilding race engines 'acquired' an ex Arrows V10 F1 engine. We sold it to a guy who put it on his hill climb car. That was an amazing engine to work on. Weighed almost nothing, sounded amazing and put out around 800 bhp.

One in the Yamaha camp going head to head with one in the Honda camp would be fireworks

Off the car race but still topic related observation:

I think Hamilton looks dead young for his age. He's only 27, but he'd pass for 18 imo. He has Dr. Brian *** syndrome. His contender Mika-Miko can do a double for Leonardo DeCaprio if car racing doesn't work out for him. So much likeness imo. Shifty/slippery look like 'Catch me if You can' actor imo.

What do people think Kobayashi's comments on his personal Facebook regarding the safety of his car last weekend?

He did say that his initial comments weren't intended for public consumption. But you know what they say, if you don't want anybody to know then don't tell anybody, let alone post it on farcebook.
On the face of it I think Koby has an uncomfortable relationship at Caterham. One minute he's out of the car and then he's back in it. Then he's 'scared' that the team will send him out in a sub standard car, and then he's satisfied with it. Sounds to me like a bit of tit-for-tat.
