Wanted Section: Paid SN membership now required to post in the Wanted forum
Hello Everyone,
From this point onwards non-paying members will no longer be able to post in the Wanted section of Scoobynet. The reasons for doing so are the same as those outlined for the restrictions posed in the general for sale section: https://www.scoobynet.com/news-and-a...mediately.html
It has become apparent that the Wanted section is being used as a means to circumvent these safeguards employed in the other sales sections, so we had to extend the same policy to the wanted section. Whilst these measures are not a 100% foolproof way to prevent fraud, it is an aid and we encourage users to check the background of the other user involved in a transaction and take whatever personal safeguards they deem necessary to protect themselves from being a victim of fraud, theft or a dishonest user.
Please be aware dishonest people and fraudsters will still operate and try to encourage transactions via the private mail system. If you proceed with such a transaction you will do this at your own risk and we cannot help if you become another victim. As a further safeguard, never use the gift option when making transactions via Paypal as you will lose any right in getting money back should the transaction go awry.
As a final request, please make use of the iTrader feedback system whenever you make a transaction between another Scoobynet member (https://www.scoobynet.com/news-and-a...scoobynet.html). As this will aid others to verify if a user is bonafide, and I'm sure the other party will appreciate any good feedback.
Regards
