FB tuning fitted Super Pro Roll Centre Kit, removed under car C frame and all bolts etc, approx 14kg weight reduction and also refitted various suspension components. Also discovered previous garage had thrown away one side of my anti lift kit while changing wishbone!!
Track alignment done afterwards, though a shame our caster was out due to one sided anti lift kit. Normally would have waited to do alignment, but trackday at Snetterton on Friday meant we had no choice but to crack on. Great job as per usual

Looking good mate - I do need to give him a bell to book mine in for an alignment session after I've raised it up a touch although the ride height is growing on me

Last few months mods:
Thanks JonMc for helping fit wheel/boss/horn wiring/harness bar
And today had to change the superb sounding JDM Fujitsibo Giken twin scroll exhaust for a new, not so well made or goood sounding full Miltek system. But with trackday noise limits getting ever more strict, it was the only choice. FB Tuning wrapped the downpipe in Titanium DEI heat wrap & had to do a few mods to make the Miltek fit properly. Cant beat a JDM exhaust like Fujitsubo, HKS, Blitz, Nismo etc IMO.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks this thread should really get going in earnest
If so then I will also take a condensed version (without the cross threading and MSOC **** taking banter!) & stick a new thread in the Projects section. Though that will mean in future there will be double thread updates

Perfect ready made solution for Brake cooling on track. No need to fabricate anything with bits of flexible hose etc as seen on many forums or buying super expensive WRC parts.
These are brake cooling ducts for Racing Karts.
Also an open face, proper hlemet at last. Arai GP Jet F (Snell Approved, CLC made with Nomex lining). This is a rare special edition made for pre order customers of Nissan GTR's.

No I have managed to find & buy the used car bargain of the century
Almost 50% depreciation in 19 months since new!

Back at FB Tuning today for final preparation before Spa, Belgium Circuit trackday!!!!! Yes the F1 circuit at the start of May with ETC
-Oil change to Miller 10w 50w & Filter
-Fitting of new super pricey Pagid Rs29 front brake pads (hardly used Ferodo DSP pads will be kept & used for slower tracks e.g. Cadwell / Brands Hatch etc)
-Fitting of my home made brake cooling ducts! (FB Tuning were not impressed with my mix of zip ties, ebay ducts & hoover flexi pipe!! lol)

Not really "updates" as such mate, just been trying to do a few more trackdays in it over the past year:
Anglesey- awesome circuit!
Oulton Park - was a bit of a wash out
Spa Francorchamps, Belgium - a few weeks ago.
Maybe Cadwell & Bedford too this year, then need to decide what to do with it over winter. Either big ts turbo with supporting mods, with or without 2.1 stroker build, sell it and swop for e.g Lotus Exige S2 PP, BMW E92 M3, BMW 1M coupe, Spec C Hatch ??

On a side note for future info on Alcon Pro R barkes:
A lot of members have been messaging me in regards to the Alcon Pro R brakes. These were Alcon Advantage Extreme (new version) that were rebranded & sold by Subaru as ProR Alcons. Probably from lack of proper marketing by Subaru, these never sold in great numbers & were sold off by Subaru dealers last year at discounted prices upto 40% cheaper in some cases. Now unfortunately these are only sold by Alcon as Advanatge Extreme for a rather higher price of £2,200 to £2,400.
Awesome brakes & with the right pads are a serious bit of kit. I would however advise that rear brakes would also need some sort of upgrade to balance the braking better. (At a least some proper track focused rear pads). Also with uprated front track pads like I have now fitted, the ABS fuse needs to be removed on track as the ABS will now go mental on any hard braking in technical terms! Though this will play havoc on the newage DCCD's while trying to reverse or do low speed manoeuvres. It basically does not allow the diff to unclock as it would do in DCCD-A. So only the locking lights from full green open to orange locked will work. This is fine on track but while manoeuvring in the pits is not ideal. Either the fuse should then be put back in or ideally completely remove the ABS pump & ancillaries & leave the ABS fuse in.
