Do you have a spare dash ??
That sounds cool as the only reason I went for the damd one over others was the dccd stuff involved as I didn't want to lose it or mess it up

Iv borrowed a dash off my mate for flocking and will give him mine back in return once I'm done

The boss adapter from OMP can be adapter to hold the roll connector and rotate it. well Looking at pictures it can anyhow lol. No doubt have to bring out my fabricating skills and make a plate to fit inside to make it work

Ahh well That's not bad. I'm on the hunt for a second hand dash or a loaner that I can swap with mine but it's gonna need chopped up and modded to suite

Does any one know the part numbers or where i can get an Oil Control Valve from? Couple of months back my car give me the P0024 code. I had the code erased to see if it was a one off. The same code flashed up tuesday. So now im going to take action and change that valve as from what i been reading is the main cause of this code. Is there a valve for either side?

Evening all , I was hoping for a bit support for a worth while charity.
I've just signed up for this event. To cycle from Newcastle to London in a day.
http://www.ride24hr.com/newcastle-2-london-24
It should be fun,
Honestly I'm thinking I may have bitten off a bit more than I can chew with this one, but a bets a bet!
I'm cycling to raise money for "Help for Heroes" if anyone would like to donate it would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Mark.

The WRX one looks interesting, being vertically mounted in the engine bay.

They are nice, I was just interested if others had gone for uprated top mount intercoolers over front mount intercoolers and what they had chosen.

I'm getting a custom top mount made by AH Fabrications using a proper motorsport technology core, it should be easily capable of handling 500bhp as I want to keep the engine bay looking 'stock' as much as possible.

That does look good Steve, I'll have a look on japanparts.com to see what's available, do you know if the gear ***** of the earlier models fit the hatchback?

Just need to refit the stereo and the dash swap is finished ,, bit more work involved than the other dashes iv done and a lot more wiring behind the dash you need to be gentle with but no major issues ,, flocking was done by southwest flocking and they did a great job

Same here, it's my car and not a car designated by a committee vote.

If I worried about what all my cars had cost me so far I'd still be using a bicycle.

then Kev at SC said....
DON’T DO IT !!!!

I will put money on it that if you do change the wheel you will damage the "steering angle sensor" which will put your switchy diff fault light on and cost another £400.00 + vat to fix it.

Leave it alone !!

Seriously.

Yeah right ,, that's the reason to buy one as it doesn't mess with anything and is a easy fit and uses all the original stuff with it ,,, trying to put any old aftermarket one on will causes no end of issues I agree but you get what you pay for of course ,, took me no more than 5mins to fit ,, and considering its the part of the car you feel the most I'd say it was money well spent ,,, once you have owned one you will want one in every scoob you own , I do lol ,,in my pic i was showing my flocked dash not my wheel lol
