Default my sti replacement, erm an impreza

Hey guys,

As some of you know, i had to sell my widetrack sti, due to the mrs losing her job and us expecting our second child.

I had looked around for a suitable replacement, looked at sorentos, then leon cupra r, i finally spoke to my mate kevc who said his old bug was for sale, so i approached the owner and here she is.

2001 bugeye wrx with just over 70k on the clock, been really well looked after,

Spec list is as long as your arm lol

D2 8pot brakes
Lowered on new shocks
Japspeed fmic
Full 3" decat with raptor
Flcocked dash
Intake
Mapped

And more

I picked the car up last sat, tbh the brakes were shocking. I hoped it was just bleeding but turned out to be the pads seized on both sides, hence a low pedal, 150 later, new pads in and good brakes,

So i decided on a quick colour change

Did the fmic too

Now i was never a fan of the bumper, sorry kev so i managed to find and chop up a prodrive bumper

Then turned my attention to the inside,

Removed the old single din hu, in favour of a double din Bluetooth unit, i then blacked the dash pieces and added a red jdm hazard switch,*

Nice looking WRX and a good upgrade from the Widetrack blob, now you too will discover the joys of the WRX 5 speed.

Agree with the bumper swap too, prodrive bumper is by far the best looking on a bug.

Do you start spraying parts of your cars before you've even signed the logbook?

Looks nice. Front bumper looks MUCH better.

Very nice mate. I have a soft spot for white bugs. I sold my bugeye and had a mk1 cupra r running 280ish. Complete nightmare everyweek a different sensor or coilpack would fail. Now back in a blob wrx and staying there.

Nice Scooby. I'll go against the flow and say the splitter on the old bumper made it more interesting!
