I think the CD thing slot is kaput. I put a CD, but it goes out. Cure? Would it be fixed under warranty?
Car with nearly 17K miles...

If there is nothing already obstructing the slot then i guess its fubar and yes it would be covered under warranty.

I don't get what the purchase price has to do with it regarding the audi.
Most people rent the cars anyway so surely it's down to monthly payments

Ha, daft ****. Why can't he leave the 2.5 alone? *****.

Update on mine, the Dunlops were still fine, with 16k on them. Now in the garage, fitted the gold wheels with Eagle F1's on them.
Had the 340 upgrade with exhaust. Love it!
Passenger door has decided not to unlock, but I am pulling the service early (thursday) and this should get fixed under warranty.

Still love it, oh and El Fat One, it still hasn't gone bang, and if it does I have a good job and can afford to get it forged.

Thanks. Well the CD goes in, the screen shows "CD loading" and then nothing, the CD pops out.

He's Irish and demented, just ignore him He's living in the past and seems to ignore the fact that not many of the 2.5's have blown up since 2010. Why is he infatuated by it? I'm not sure, i think he knew someone close to him in the past who had a 2.5 which had a failure, so he's likely got a massive chip on his shoulder Or he just loves to wind people up for no other reason (yea that's more likely)

I assume it does this with all CD's? It might just be a case that the CD's need a clean, I'm sure you have tried this already though.

Unfortunately it did it to all of the CDs I have been trying since 2 days ago... so no music, but anyway this CDradio has been the crappiest ever so not a big loss!

Update: the problem resolved on its own... just did not occur after few days and never happened since...

True, but I don't bother with CD's at all i either use an ipod over usb or stream over bluetooth from my phone.

So after some 18K happy miles, I am driving on the motorway at a relaxed pace and here it comes the AWD amber light is on . Earlier on that day a rather spirited drive had taken place...
I went home, left the car for a week, drove it today for over 10 miles on motorway at speed over 40mph and no problem, no light. What happened? Why would the light be on then and not appearing any more? Was it a glitse? Or am I expecting more problems?

There's a new module that can be fitted which is less sensitive, pop to your local dealer they should solve it for you

my 2016 has 1.4k miles on and the centre diff housing has an oily substance on it.

I'm trying to work out if its the same green gunk they smother the engine components with in the engine bay. There's no evidence of oil on the drive and the grease has a green tinge to it.

I've had mine for just over 2 years now. The only problems: 1) The fuel filler latch was changed after 2 months from new, 2) I had the boot lid paint rubbing issue. Both were fixed under warranty and got the bootlid re-sprayed along with the service fix for the bootlid stops. No leaks, no glitches, still 'as new' with 13k miles on now.

The only real problem is I don't get to drive it enough.

Thanks Rob. I'll monitor things for now,as the light did not come on again. Strange though.
Anyway car will be due for its 20K miles service, so I should be planning my visit to you soon! And We can get this done as well
