Default hawkeye sti clocks into wr1 sti

ive been trying to fit the clocks into my wr1 , th e2 problems i had was the block that didnt fit just shaved it down the problem i have is the constant buzzing from the clocks from start up there are numerous reads and all stating cut the c9 wire well that i have done and also the orange wire and also a black green with no effect so help needed if anybody as any or done this swap over





also here is a pic of the inside of the clocks the beige dome is i think is the siren for the buzzer wondering if this can be removed

I did this into an 05' STI and I cut C9 to sort it.

You sure you've got the right wire? I can't remember what colour mine was, but could possibly pop the cluster out at the weekend to check if you're still stuck.

Default sti clocks

all sorted with the info given off a scooby member the wire to cut was the yellow one on the plug nearest the drivers door
