Hi,

Its really upsetting when you have set your car for sale and then people keep suggesting it doesn't worth much as it is not modified.

cheers guys
Hi,
I too had good experience with the insurance company as I have booked them much in advance so as to avoid any chaos at the last moment. What I did was I was constantly in contact with them for all good and bad reasons.

For classic ins try lynbrooke, £250 a year for a 1994 wrx wagon import, although as for any classic policy it's limited miles and you must have another car insured in your name....

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since we have been proactive upon Scoobynet, as we had dropped off in early 2009 (shortly after Shaun sold the forum).

We do know Stu@internetbrands from many years of involvement via another prolific forum, along with his own companies (tuning and remap related). He's a really good guy and after a recent chat involving some really good Scoobynet related nostalgia we've returned to support the forum.

We've posted fully within our thread (see the link below), but felt it worth posting here as well as we've been covering Northern Ireland since 2006.

https://www.scoobynet.com/trader-ann...ce-scheme.html

There are a few familiar faces here, who will hopefully be able to support our consistently positive view of the region.

Kind regards

Tony

Sorry people, I forgot to mention that we can now cover any of the imported models that are recognised by the association of British Insurers.

You can check if your imported model is recognised by visiting the following link and looking for your vehicle using the search option on the right hand side of the web page.

Kind regards

Hi AndyNI,

Thanks for posting within our thread.

It's likely that we are unable to help due to your age, as our preferentially rated schemes will only cover Subaru Impreza Turbo/Wrx/Wrx Sti models for drivers aged 25+

If you're younger than this but have owned the vehicle for 12 months or more claim free we can refer this to Underwriters on a bespoke basis, but this isn't going to be cheap if you're under 25.

Kind regards

Tony

Lightbulb At Last - Greenlight can cater for imported/non-ABI models

Hi UlsterScooby, 71/200 (and Japanese Import/Non-ABI recognised drivers)

Finally... we are able to cater for non-ABI recognised imported models.

We've spent considerable time working upon both systems and schemes, which has resulted in our now able to cater for non-ABI listed vehicles (including Japanese imports/limited editions).

For years we have had to adopt the ABI vehicle schedule in terms of vehicle models, but with effect from now have schemes available to cater for models that are not ABI listed or recognised.

Thanks to those of you who own these models who have shown patience to date

After all this time of having to turn away some great risks we are really pleased to be able to handle non-ABI recognised models (in particular Japanese imports) we now look forward to hearing from you and would welcome the opportunity to help.

We do recognise that some models will not currently be present upon our online system and where the model is missing our team will be here to assist.

To obtain an accurate, competitive quotation, you will need to call our dedicated quotation team on 01277 376000.

Thanks for listening

Kind regards

Tony
