Hi, I recently brought a 09 impreza 1.5, I'm having difficulty unlocking all doors by the remote. My remote seems to have only one button for both functions. When I unlock either by pressing the button Once or twice I've noticed that all the doors unlock and in a split second the 3 doors lock back again leaving the drivers door Open. Did the previous lady owner programme it to be like this? Any suggestions what could be the problem.

Certainly sounds like its been programmed that way. I don't know
the codes but someone here will.

Press the unlock button once for drivers door then wait for hazard lights to go off and press it again to unlock the other 3 doors and rear hatch

No worries mate. My mrs dad just got himself a hatch a few weeks ago and we were having the same struggle. It says in the manual that the dealers can change the function of the button so that it opens all doors with one press but we haven't been to find out yet.
