This is gonna open a can of worms but am looking to move to London area, not city centre but most likely surrounding county and again not specified yet.

My current insurance in rural Wales is around the £250 pa with limited mods and one named driver (mrs) but can imagine that's likely to sky rocket..... anyone been in similar situation and got a rough idea of premium increase or pm renewal for 96wrx.

Without stating the obvious why not find out the postcode of where you are looking at moving too and use an online comparison site.

Yeh I've tried that but without an actual address they won't quote me. Had thought that would be a good idea to start looking just thought I'd throw it out there was all

cant you go on one of the popular insurance quote sites and throw a load of Postcodes in from properties for sale in the areas you like,
see how they change with No mods, will give you an idea of the costs differences between postcodes, which is one of the main factors when calculating the risks iirc.
