Speaker recommendations for Classic
What's your up to date Speaker recommendations for a Classic, OEM size preferred. Don't mind spending a bit. Just installed a Kenwood KDC-BT48 DAB to power them.
Plenty of bass in the rears if possible.

Difficult to get bass with 13 cm rears.....
You COULD fit a sub, I have one that fits almost under one of the rear seats, it's an Alpine one. I have fixed it down with hook and loop tape, I can then easily pull it out and remove the two plugs if carrying two in the back. it's very adjustable for sound and was quite cheap on ebay.
As for speakers, I won't recommend. What I always DO recommend is a visit to a place with a decent interactive display, take someone with you if you can and do blind listening tests.
I did just that on a huge display and ended up with Sony 3-way fronts and Sony 3-way 9x6 rears.

Dave, I'm just popping in some 6x9's in the back of mine this weekend. A mate gave me some jvc ones for the navara and they sound ok so I bought some for the scoob. Using an mdf spacer Im bolting them in but also dynamatting the entire shelf as it will vibrate like hell.
The spring rods in the boot foul the spacers at present and I cant think how I did it in my last classic.
