02 sti lumpy idle and stalling!!
For a couple of weeks my scoob has been running abit lumpy slight miss on tickover and a little hesitant on off boost gear changes. Last weekend the EML came on and car stalled at a junction(very hot day) and wouldn't start turning over fine but just wouldn't fire, a bloke stopped and gave me a push an it started so I drove the 3miles back home turned it off tried to start it but wouldn't fire up so left for a couple of hours and it started fine still with the slight misfire.
Now the car starts runs and drives the misfire is there and the revs drop really low when pulling up at junctions etc but it takes about 20mins of driving before the EML comes on.
These are the fault codes I'm getting
P0122-powertrain
Throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A circuit low input
P0107-powertrain
Manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit low input
Couldn't it be as simple as changing the above sensors or could something else cause these codes?
Cheers Harri.

Not gonna do any major damage as it's not being used. Fully agree about taking to a specialist but don't have any near me, just thought there might be some people that have resolved similar issues an could shed some light.

You could check the throttle position unit is moving freely. They can clog up and not work properly, throwing up a variety of fault codes. I had this problem and the answer was to clean the unit with brake cleaner to remove the carbon deposits. It should turn freely without sticking.
