An original gauge?

Can you show a pic?

If it's aftermarket, which I suspect it is, it COULD be where the original oil pressure SWITCH was, under the alternator, but could also be on a sandwich plate between oil filter and block, (ugh), or in a special bung in the oil sump, (worse).

Ah, OK, genuine gauges, but they were an option, not standard equipment.

Look for the sender either between the oil filter and the engine block, screwed into a sandwich plate, or even screwed into a special bung in the bottom of the oil sump, replacing the old one.

Both methods are used by lazy fitters especially when the new sender won't fit where the old oil pressure switch did, or when the owner wants the gauge AND the oil pressure light.

Once you've found the sender, first check for damage to wiring, then think about replacing the sender. I'm pretty sure those senders are still available online, the gauges are Lamco.

Okey, I have some wiring to my oil plug, can that be it? Or can it just be the oil temp?

You don't have an oil temperature on that setup, it's for oil pressure, WATER temperature and volts (waste of space...should be a turbo gauge). At least, that was my understanding.

The sender will have TWO wires to it. Check the position under the alternator, the original oil pressure switch only had one.

If the sender isn't there, check the other two places it could be, I've listed them before.
