Default Ultragauge.. anyone else got one?

hi all,

Just got myself one of these http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/ £60 inc delivery from USA.
Really loving it so far (apart from seeing my MPG lol) loads of info and easily visible screen. able to set a service interval etc. good bit of kit IMHO.

Anyone else got one? done a search on here and could not see any other posts.

Sub-Total: $76.90
FedEx (1 x 0.57lbs) (International Priority): $28.77
Total: $105.67

I got price wrong.. was £70.56 GBP inc delivery. (just checked PayPal)

I think the cost of postage was ok given I ordered Wednesday and it turned up on Friday!

The only down side is there are only a few places to easily mount it on the impreza dashboard. I opted to modify an old air freshener that clips onto the air vent. seems nice and stable and does not bounce around. Was not keen to mount on windscreen etc. for obvious reasons.

easy peasy.. just plugs in the OBD port and then about 1.5 meter cable and you mount it where you like.
main reason I opted for it over gauges tbh. easier to wire in and can remove and transfer to another car.

Only taken 1 picture so far and only set a couple of gauges up. Trying to decide what to show on it.

Blobeye? if so I would have thought so.. as long as a car is OBD II compliant it should work.
http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragaug...patibility.htm

I have been working all weekend so only been able to set the basics up. on plugging in it will scan the car and see what sensors it can pick up. mine comes back with 48 of a possible 82 gauges I think it said. Not sure how that is figured out as some gauges are the same but different units of measurement. Fuel can be displayed in L/ph or MPG and boost in PSI or KPa etc.
I plan to display the BHP and Torque figures on it to test accuracy. I had it mapped just before Christmas so have a good indication of what it should be doing.

If anyone wants to see a specific gauge let me know and I will try to take a picture (if the ECU gives this data of course)

Honestly no idea... I do not work for them or anything lol. Just came across it on a few American forums and they all rave about it so thought I'd give it a go.

At a complete guess I would say if you have a standard OBD port and a generic code reader can talk to it I would think it should work. I have no knowledge of after market ECU's I'm afraid.

Fits nicely over the air vent on a Hawkeye as you can see in my previous picture.
I will see if I can take a few more detailed pictures in the next few days. Nice Size IMHO. easily readable but not too big.
